This week's challenge is SIMPLE WOWs. First off, a "WOW" card is just one that people say WOW when they see it. By "Simple", I mean one that is just that....simple. Simple to create (like a first-time stamper could recreate). Simple in its design or layout. Simple in that there really isn't much going on, but still is so cool, you want to make it yourself. Simple in that you could CASE it in about 5 minutes. Sometimes I think of this type of card as "elegant simplicity", which sometimes can be harder than the most complicated technique!
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us STAMPIN' !!

DANG! You guys just ROCKed the last challenge "Lovin' Linen"! I was amazed and enthralled by all the awesome, eye-popping Faux Linen cards! Excellent work!

Mine is really simple!!! Just stamps and two layers... Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I just looked and see that the glossy metalic paper doesn't show up. In real life it looks like a sheet of copper.
I saw this after coming home from work, made and posted them, and still have time to get ready for trick-or-treating! (Of coarse, it was Spaghettios for dinner. But, hey, it works on a night like this!) They are super quick and simple. Hope you like them.
I have one done, it's okay but I think I'd prefer more layers, maybe some embossing, a charm or layer the greeting...but I didn't I kept it very simple.
This was a fun challenge Beth. I decided to pull way back and only use one layer of card stock and to use only one stamp and two colors of ink. I used a classic pad for one color and thumped the second color on with a marker. I enjoyed this.
I am trying to upload my image and it gives me a message that I can't upload anything bigger than 640 x 480. My file is 480 x 610 and it says it's over the size. I am not sure how to change it since it's portrait orientation and that's the correct size. Can you please let me know what I am doing wrong?

Are you sure your on pixels when you see the numbers? My Adobe has pixels and inches and I think even one other choice. So make sure you have it set to pixels and if you have a real problem after that you can always email it to me and I'll resize it for you and email it back. No big deal I've done it before and it only takes a few minutes.
I just love what everyone has posted already!!! Here is one I did some time ago, the funny part is in my description I start out with " Simply torn..."
I think I have to place an order just to get full size AA & PP pads and more paper! I am addicted to this color combo! (I like it w/ silver EP too, but I was trying to KISS!)
Here's a Christmas card for my middle school stamping intramural. I'll have to use the Keeping it Simple method for some more, but it will wait until tomorrow. I'm off to bed. Hope you like it.
My 11-year-old daughter made these cards over the weekend, and she so badly wanted me to upload them to her gallery. I can't do that YET, but I thought this was a perfect chance to show what she did.
These were all based on beautiful cards I had saved from SCS in the past, and I apologize for not being able to credit the original designer, but they definitely have a WOW-factor about them, and my DD's quirky sense of style adds a little whimsy to them, too!
I hope you enjoy seeing them, and I REALLY hope to be able to start uploading the normal way again soon!
Beth this is the hardest technique challenge ever!!! I don't think I've ever made a card that qualifies as both simple and wow. I've seen some, but never done one. Simple is hard IMO. Not sure I'll have time to play this week - lots going on, but I'll definitely be watching. Maybe I'll have a chance to come up with something.
Here is a link to my card for this challenge. I had a problem with my last upload and the photo got deleted so please check this one out. This looks much more sparkly IRL.
Thanks for looking and have a great day!!

I did a second card using my 15 yr old granddaughter's idea with a twist by adding the holly. The last two times she's wanted to do a card for a friend it's been this crazy dollar stamp cow.
