JANUARY CHALLENGE
Since Valentine's Day will be here before you know it, I am sure most of you have started thinking about and making your Valentine's Day cards. And I'm sure you have visioned and even have made some beautiful red, pink, & white cards. Well forget about those. Because this challenge is to make a Valentine's Day card, but you CAN NOT use the colors red, pink, or white in your card.

This may be difficult but I already have ideas in my mind. I brought some stamping stuff to work today so maybe this will be my lunch time project.
What are we going to use as the keyword when we upload?
I have to remind myself to check this board for the challenges. I almost missed it. I will assume we have the whole month of January to do the card. This is really fun! I am excited!
thanks gals!! My son skipped his nap this am so i got him down a little while ago so I came down to work on challenge (needed to do a card for my blog anyway!)

Yes, Rose, you have the rest of January to complete your card. Don't forget to go back to the challenge thread and link your card!!
Great challenge, LaToya!! You did a fabulous job!! If you want to, you can do a search in the gallery using the key word, and copy the link into the word GALLERY. If you need help with this, let me know. It's just an easy way for all of us to refer back to the challenge and do a quick search for all the challenge cards, but certainly not a requirement.
Hi guys - wow LaToya, what a challenge. I haven't started on Valentine's yet, but luckily had a card from last year that meets your challenge (I'm not sure how to link it in this message, so I have uploaded it to my SCS gallery - how do I do that, by the way?). It's one of the first cards I did, so there's not much to it - it's funny to sit back and look how far I have gone but know I have much more to come. I'm now on my way to visit everyone's blog.
I am glad I wandered over today, I kept seeing these cards on your blogs but it didn't dawn on me that it was our group challenge. I will work on mine.
Just subscribing for the moment i'll probably do this challenge tomorrow while the kids are off of school. I'll come back and post my link on the thread.
I sat down ad made a card for this challenge - actually several cards cause I just could not get the image in my head to match what I was stamping - kwim?
Here is the card I finally came up with. It is quite a departure from what I would think of as "valentiney."
Hi everyone! I've just uploaded my card to the gallery - it's been done for a week and a half but you know how things go... too much to do and not enough time to get it all done.
