Default STAMPIN UP color list

I want to organize my SU stamp pads so I can tell what colors are retired or changed and what category (rich regal, soft subtle, etc.).

Does anyone have a list or know where to find a list that says "in 2000 - the 48 colors were ..."

The color name of "bippidyboppidy blue" is now ... "blippooody blue" (and when)

Reason? I want to figure out if I have the right colors for projects when I read about them.

A list for papers too would be nice - if there is one.

why not look at the current catty? There are pics of the current colours for both inks and paper. At least, then you'd know what is retired and what isn't!

Do you mean you need to know when Bliss Blue was dumped for Bashful Blue and so on?

Actually those older colors do have similar replacements, but they are not all identical.

Or you just want to know what color families your ink pads are in? (For this...yes, check the catty or SU site)

I didn't need the list, but it's cool to have it. TFS with us, Diane.

you can also look at the ends of the ink pads to determine which color family they belong to - for example Bold Brights ink pads one little round 'bump', Earth Elements have two, etc etc.

Thanks for the list and the tip about the bumps on the pads. Do they ever bring back an "In Color" as one of the on going colors?

Thanks for sharing this! I have a lot of retired SU stuff, since my friend & I used to be demos (at different times), so this will be very helpful.

I have been keeping these documents up to date (this is 10 year old) in a thread in Downloads/Lists and Charts. Here's the thread:
fionna51's Many Lists and Charts - Splitcoaststampers
As of today, I don't have the 2019-2020 In Colors added yet since I don't have them in my hands but as soon as I do I will be updating any charts that aren't up to date.

Thank you so much for this list. I have inherited most all of my Mother's SU Markers and have been trying to sort in my head why so many markers that look close in color. I already see quite a few of the names I have been trying to figure out.

Post 3 in that thread referenced above is up to date with in-colors for 2020-2022. I'm sorry I haven't updated with the 2021-2023 colors yet, but that is a simple addition to make.
