I know that CKC is April 24-26, 2009 but I was thinking more of things like these Shoebox Swaps or crops.

let's put together a shoebox party here. they did one in dallas and are doing one in San Antonio in Jan.

I've been to a great shoebox party in Seattle. It was not limited to cardmaking. we did altered journals, atc's, cards, domoino art, etc.

There was a Houston Shoebox last February that I heard was fantastic.

I would be interested in a swap as long as it wasn't all SU. Even a meet and greet would be fun!

If anyone wants to help me put one together, I will certainly like to try, but only after I get my wrist out of a cast. Sale-a-Bration is coming up in February for SU, so may be one in early-mid March would be great!

It's healed. However, I need to go to PT for the next 4 weeks. Start Monday with the therapist.

Found out I broke radius and the ulna. Saw the x-rays this last time I went in. That was a shock to me.

I need to contact Dina and see what ideas she has and get back with you on the Swap.

Please keep us all posted on the June swap. I'm still not up to stamping just yet because my wrist has a ways to go before it's completely well. We might do a small swap in April but limited to a small group to get our hands wet on how to plan one locally.

Sorry, for some reason I didn't get updates on this and I guess I haven't logged in for a long time. I'm interested in a Shoebox Swap (that isn't exclusive to SU). I'm interested in helping out also. I can't do anything until mid-March at the earliest as I am hosting a couple of retreats in Surfside but after that I should be good.

When and where is the one in June?

One of these days a Scor-Pal is going to attach itself to me. I just know it.

Not making any promises right now, but I'm thinking of doing another shoebox swap maybe in September. I guess I need to talk to Christine and see when her church is available. I sure hope we can get it together. It will not be strictly SU. By that time I may not be a demo anymore anyway.

Yep, know it is, but won't be able to go...have to go help downsize Clark's mother's room at the assisted living facility...lots of stuff has to go since she is not in independent living anymore.
