Bless you! More people need to do this!!!

It irks me to no end that I send gifts to my siblings and their kids and rarely even get an acknowledgment that they received them (let alone a "thank you"). I don't necessarily need a card...a phone call or an email would be sufficient. Not sure what happened with me (we are from the same family!) - I usually make my Christmas TY's before my Christmas cards to make sure they are ready to go right after the holidays.

I always send thank you cards to people not present when I open the gift so they know I got it. My family is spread around the country and at time the world, so it can be important to do that I was tought to ALWAYS do thank you notes and unfortunately had to take it upon myself to teach my nieces as their mother didn't bother. I usually send thank you notes to people I DO open gifts in front of too, but because... I haven't made them yet (we still have one more round of gift opening to go) but I'll be working on them this weekend.

I'm not sure how to copy my link from the gallery, but here's a sample of what I made for my Christmas "thank you". They were fun to do and I mixed up the dashing (designer papers) as well as the "trim the tree" accessories.

Thanks for looking Sue P. (zowie - in the gallery)
