WT43 - Please join in and play along
This week's challenge is one that is a request. This week's challenge is to find Way's to Use your supplies to make Masculine cards. We all seem to gravitate to the beautiful floral images so this week, try to find ways to use what you have to make cards for those wonderful men in your life. As always, if you have any great tips or color combos for making guy cards, let us know.
Please remember to pu WT43 in your keywords section (you may also want to put masculine in there as well) and post a link back here.
Remember there is no time limit on this.
Have fun and happy stamping,

With this challenge issued I have an excuse to make another hunky, um, i mean masculine card today!
I think it's debatable whether my cowboy card from yesterday is really one for the fellas in our lives, or more for the ladies! ;)

Oh, great challenge, Julia.
These are some things that I think make great masculine cards:
masculine colors -- darker colors, blues & browns, neutrals
simple straight lines -- not a lot of squiggles & swirls
few embellishments -- go easy on these
stamps -- anything sports, cars, hunting, fishing, leaves, trees, animals; stay away from flowers & cutesy
Hope that helps.

I'm going to play later today, if I can find anything in my collection that would be masculine. Hmm....

Here's Mine!!
I had these in my gallery, so I don't know either if this is cheating. (If it is, I'll make another one.) It's not like I couldn't use another masculine card anyway! I have lots of males in my family. As a matter of fact, I think it's my mom and myself who ARE the ONLY females in the family including grandchildren! So here are a couple that I've already made:

Great challenge Julia! I have very few men in my life... uh, like my 2 uncles, and 2 cousins who just turned 6! I'll have to see what I can come up with! I'll play later today.

Here are two I made this morning. I combined with the Sketch Challenge.

Thanks for the challenge idea!
I made a masculine card for my father that I forgot to take a picture of before I sent. I've been meaning to recreate ever since November. Now I have to do it!

Julia, thanks for the challenge of masculine cards. I am always stumped when I do one. I guess it's because I don't make many for men. I need to broaden my skills with that, so thanks again.

Here is my masculine card
I have to tell you - the most used thing for me lately has been daubers. I use them on EVERY card. I don't know why, I think I must need a 12 step program for them. The funny thing is, they are neat and organized in a container, all labeled with the colors on the side. I lose the box all the time in the mess of my stamp area - when I start stampin - I am constantly losing them. I have to find a dedicated spot for them.
I used the daubers to dirty up/distress my card. I love them! I have been doing lots of browns with my pinks, greens and blues lately!
Here is my masculine card: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
