Were going to ring in the New Year with inspiration from fabulous cakes by Cake Nouveau. A big thank you goes out to Jami (sgtStamper) for suggesting this fabulous website. There are all sorts of styles and designs to choose from.
Since the links only take you to a page of cakes (not to individual cake pictures), please let us know which cake (and on which page) you chose for your inspiration. Ive uploaded three images from the website, but feel free to choose any item for inspiration just make sure you provide a link.
Use the keyword: IC60 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
There are such cute cakes to choose from. Gonna sleep on this one though! Sweet Dreams! lol!!!

Thanks, Stef and Jami, for a delicious inspiration this week. I chose the Winding Vines cake as the inspiration for my card -- Winding Vines and Birds. I will probably do another one in the morning. Lots of good choices.
What awesome cakes to check out, but the Floral Silhouette cake on pg. 1 inspired me with this card: HOPE

OMGosh....Stef...WONDERFUL SITE!!!!!!! And, I had a great day...After I paid a PROFESSIONAL to come and air out the house and CLEAN the carpets and couch, and 3 chairs...And sent the drapes to the dry cleaner....Yep....the Speedy the Cat flea spray that went bad and nasty smell is GONE! YEAH!!!!! So, after I spent the afternoon dancing around and singing Little Mermaid songs while cleaning up, I had to choose that Ocean cake!!!!
IC161 Inspired Wedding Cake by JD from PAUSA at Splitcoaststampers
My entry for this challenge...My card did not scan very well, the colors are pink and white in real life. I'm also sorry that I didn't read the instructions better and I didn't put the page number on my post. The cake I used is on page 1 and It's titled "till death do us part"
Another great challenge, thank you

Reason: typo
So many possibilities there. But the sight of that much sugar and sweetness is too much for me!!
I made this simple masculine birthday card, always useful to have one on standby.
If I finish the flag-book I am making for my sis, maybe then I will tackle one of the sea life ones, or something.
And I'll be very disappointed if Mothermark doesn't do the teapot one .
Thanks, Stef and Jami. A Record Cake - probably also a record speed for a card!
It took a while to figure out which one I wanted to interpret. But when I saw "For the Record" on page one, bottom left corner, I knew this was it. Here is my card for this challenge.
