Add an Image

You can insert an image in a text widget by typing the HTML Image tag into the text box
First enable your widgets on your Plugin page, by selecting to Activate the Widget Sidebar.
Next, go to the Presentation page and select the Sidebar Widgets option.
Add a Text Widget to your sidebar by dragging one into the panel.
**If you don't have one as an option, select to add another one from below the Available Widgets
Click the Text Widget to edit it.
Paste in this code, but change the web address to where your image is on the web:
//www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/" />
Close the Text Widget and Save Changes.
You have now added an image and can type text around it. Note that to have your text on a separate line than the image, you will need to type the HTML code for a Line Break. You can do this by typing after, or before the image.

Sorry, I'm not getting it. I'm blog challenged. I know where to go to add the code but I'm not sure what I'm to change it to to get the badge. It says to change it to the place where it is on the web and that is where I get lost.

well ... you need to save the image to your computer and then upload it somewhere. I've heard that you can make a new blog post, upload the image as you would normally but instead of publishing the post, just save it. To get the image location code, you can either right click on the image and choose the "copy image location" option or you can also right click on the image, click on "properties" and then copy the image location that way. That url that you've copied is the one you need to "change it to the place where it is on the web".

OK - Thanks. That makes sense but ...I cannot click on the attachments in the original post to save it to my computer to upload it to a post. I run the curser over the attachments and click and nothing happens. I thought normally when you click on attachments they will open and give you an opportunity to save....It may be just me -

normally they do ... I couldn't click on them in this thread either so I simply right-clicked and saved the image that way! It works just the same!!
I'm not sure *why* the attachment's aren't clickable - I embedded the images as well as attached them. Hmmm. Weird! They're there when I click to edit! Sorry about that! I'll see what I can figure out!

Very cute! I don't have a blog, but I still think the badges are very cute.
I dont have a crafting blog but I have a personal livejournal and I took them to use as icons there.
