A couple of minutes ago while browsing here I clicked on a pink banner ad from Stampin' Up asking if I'd like free ribbon (I would!) but when I clicked on it, it just took me to the SU website. I checked out the current promos - retired sets, country living, and valentine bundle - none of which seem to offer free ribbon. Am I missing something here? (wouldn't be the first time, lol!) Is there a secret password or something? Anyone know about a SU free ribbon promo?
If you read the address line as you click...for a second it says Valentine's Day Bundle - Free Ribbon....I am guessing it's supposed to link to that special (Probably free ribbon) but it's not online yet.

I just noticed it again a few minutes ago. Did the same thing you did--went to the site and no ribbon promo.
Plus, the site said the love bundle is not available right now. Did they run out of stock or something? Any demos know?
Due to popularity they ran out of the coordinating DSP so for now they have turned it off as far as online ordering goes however if you call your demonstrator direct they can order it & the bundle will be put on backorder.
Has anyone seen the SU banner that say free ribbon? Does anyone know more info on this? I click the banner and it takes me to SU website but I can't find anything that says about free ribbon.

The ad is still showing on SCS...I'm looking at it as I type. But this is definitely the ad from last years valentines promo. Have no idea how it ended up being used this year. Hmmmm.
It is a ribbon bundle.
This ribbon combination coordinates beautifully with our Delicate
Dots Designer Series paper. Bundle includes 10 yds. ea. 5/8" Certainly
Celery poly-twill ribbon and 5/8" So Saffron grosgrain ribbon.
When this thread first started that free rbbon link actually went to the 2008 Valentines Bundle (which did have a ribbon promo) from last year and was instantly forwarded to the SU main page.
The broken link was fixed so it skips over that now, but the free ribbon logo banner is still the same, though it randomly alternates with the new valentines bundle promo.
It's so funny how a little glitch in the system can cause such incredible mayhem among us girls...and I still have nothing better to do than worry about it...LOL!!
It's almost like a stampede of women yelling WHERE'S THE FREE RIBBON???? LOL
