Default JoAnn Cancelled my order!

I am so angry wiht JoAnn.com. I have ordered lots of times with no problems, but when I ordered an Ott light for DH for Christmas, it didn't show. When I checked the order status, it was cancelled with no explanation. Ugh. No big gift for DH.

They did that to me once too. I never shop there anymore because they were so rude about it when I called customer service to figure out what happened. Thankfully it was something for me and not a present or I would have crawled through the phone and strangled the witch on the other end of the line.

Same thing happened to me too once. In my case, it was out of stock, so they canceled the order. No email or notification of any kind. Never will I order from them again.

Same exact thing happened to me when I purchased a light for my mom for Xmas. I will NOT be shopping there anymore!

Yikes! Thanks for the warning. I've shopped online with them during a few sales. I know now to be wary--or least don't buy from them if I really *need* it.

I never heard of anything like that before! And not even any kind of email to explain!! I've never done business with them and NOW I NEVER WILL!
I don't blame you for being upset. Their lack of consideration is unbelievable.

I ordered 3 times over 35.00 to be part of the free shipping club. To this day I didn't get a confirmation. But other than that I have always gotten decent service. The last order was real slow but figured it was the holidays holding it up.

My hubby and I as well don't shop anymore at Joanns.com, couple years ago I was ordering few times and they signed up automatically for some service, which was deducting $10 a month from our account. We had to hunt what was that fee, and when we called Joann's they were rude, and said we can still use our coupon from that service. And we never got any coupon or anything.

I order from joann all the time and have never had a problem. I have used them for almost 2 years now and sometimes it was 2 or 3 times a week.

I never had a problem with Joann's however ohmycrafts cancelled my order and did not send a e-mail

This is really sad!! I buy from then a lot and never had problems. I was on the Free shipping Club and order a lot this year 2008 and everything was okay!!

So sorry to read this stories! I'm going to be more careful!

I've never ordered from them online because there's a Joann's nearby. I'm sorry that their service isn't up to par. I don't think I'll be ordering from them online anytime soon. =/

Same thing here. Plus I had used a gift card. I had to call several times to get it refunded. If I hadn't called I don't think they would have credited the money back to the card. I also will not order online from them again.

I was in the free shipping club in 2008 - I probably placed 25 orders during the year. Never one problem. In fact, I will always prefer to shop online - I can find so much more stuff available than is in my ETC store. The shipping could stand to be faster - but oh well.

Now, I'm trying to qualify for the free shipping club for 2009 - and I'm armed with plenty of gift cards!
