I told dh today was the day. Unloading all the closets, going through boxes, sorting, throwing away. Then I totally unload my scrap/stamp room, and re organize, sort, throw away. Weeellll, I stumbled over my cuttlebug stuff in the floor, but the stack of 15-20 Stampin Success, holiday project books, and scrap paper cushioned the fall. I am really lucky, not even a bruise.
LOL!:-D Can I borrow that excuse for when Hubby gets on my "case" about the amount of "supplies" (eh, My word, NOT HIS! if you know what I mean), that I have stashed here, there and everywhere?:-D
Good luck cleaning up. I know it can be a big task. I attempted to work on my area on Christmas to make room for my new stuff. I still have a lot more to do. Very happy to hear that you didn't hurt yourself. Hey, does that mean that stamping can be classified as a contact sport.
Sorry, but this made me laugh out loud! First, glad you are ok and second, good for you to be organizing and cleaning out your closet. Would you like my address when you are finished. HNY!
Congratulations on having the urge to purge! That's really what it takes to get things done. That has hit me for other areas of the house, but not for the craft room yet.
I don't get too many magazines. I guess I'll need more in order to save myself when I finally clean!
Please, can you come over when you are finished??!! ;) Pretty please. Glad you were "saved" by the crafting stuff. Some day, when I grow up, I want to be this organized and dedicated to cleaning.

It is done. I spent twelve hours, yes, 12 hrs. The day flew by, but I have three 55 gallon trash bags filled. I found my wedding shower albums, going to "maybe" re do them. It's quite a transformation, I will be able to produce some projects now. Just gotta keep it this way.
Next, re organize Christmas storage boxes. Cowboys play at 3 pm, dfh will be useless after that.
Congratulations!!! Yes, the hard part is keeping it organized. I feel like every time I start a project, I am back to square 1! LOL! I just have to make sure that I put stuff back in the right spots.
I think you will feel sooooo much better now and eager to start projects!:-D
Wow, three 55 gallon bags! Now, is that trash, things to give away, or what? I never would have been able to stick with it that long. I give you a lot of credit. Congratulations!
I find that as soon as I clean up, I start messing up, so I wish you luck at having more success than I have had!
Since I tend to be VERY clumsy... this looks like a great insurance policy to me! Wonder if I could use my flex spending on my employee insurance to cover buying stamping supplies? :-)
