Default Sharpies on sale...

at Walgreens in the Chicagoland area.

8 paks of fine point for $4.49
1 - red, yellow, blue, green, ornage, purple, brown and black
2 - "NEW COLORS" marigold, burgundy, plum, olive, navy, light green, light blue and cranberry(?)

These are the first sharpies I've bought, so i don't know if this is a good deal or not.

What other colors are supposed to be available?

I went to Office depot and couldn't find the pastel ones, but saw some earthy tones (like a mustard) I hadn't seen before.

Seems I've seen them being sold one at a time for about $1. So, e waterous the sale sounds good.

"some earthy tones (like a mustard) I hadn't seen before"

those must be the new colors in the second pack. Now I need to find the pastels!

I was just at Office Max on Saturday and there are now 24 different colors of Sharpies! OMG! I refrained from buying them because I bought the 24 pack at Sam's (this pack doesn't have all the colors, just multiples of most colors) and if I buy this latest pack, I will have two of most of the colors. Hmmm, maybe I can give some away...

I can't find Magenta or Tangerine! I just got back from JoAnn looking for them, and I went to Michael's over the weekend. Neither place carries these colors. Anyone know where I can find them?? Thanks!!

I found the pastels at Staples this morning for sale individually for 99 cents each. A little more, but only needed the mint, tangerine, light yellow, light purple, and light blue.

They were in the front of the store in a cardboard riser dedicated to Sharpies of all types.
