I read the card challenge post and I am not quite sure how it works. I understand to make 10 christmas cards a month and post them in the month thread. But what I am confussed about is when do I post? for example do I post January in January? I know that seems logical but for some reason I didn't understand that part.

Thanks gals and guys
Yes, when you make your cards for January, you will post them in this thread. When you make your cards for February, you will post them in the February 09 thread (which I have not begun, yet), and so on...and you don't HAVE to make 10 cards per month- you figure out how many YOU need, and that's how many you make each month. The point is to have as many Christmas cards as you'll need to send out by the end of November so you won't be stessing like I am right now to get them all done in time! (I kinda flaked on the challenge this year!)
To be qualified for the small incentive prizes each month, you need to have your January cards uploaded to your gallery (using CCC-09 in the title) and a post to this thread by 11:59pm on January 31st letting me know that you've completed that month. It will be like that for each month, but if you don't get your cards done in time, that's fine, just try to catch up, however, you just won't be included in the drawing for that particular month. Clear as mud??
My cards made in Dec will be for January as I'm finished with 08's already and just want to make more, LOL. and each 25th for following months will be the next month, if that makes sense (see my post in main thread) do I need to wait until the first to post for that month or can I go ahead the week before? I also like to do it that way cuz I'm done the last week of October rather than November and can enjoy the Holidays.
I'm posting to keep up with this thread. I'm trying not to look at the other cards for this month until I get mine done, but it's going to be hard. I will start on mine the beginning of the month. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!

ok I'm thinking.. I can do this.. hmm so there is no minimum right? say I only need 5 or so .. and do they have to be all the same or just 5 by the deadline?
This sounds fun and will make it less hectic in December

No minimum...and no, they don't have to be the same...and yes, just post to this thread by the last day of January that you've finished your January cards and you'll be entered in the January drawing...
When do we need to have our cards done by each month. Any particular date
Thanks
Tanja
Tanja- you have to post to the monthly thread by the last day of the month in order to be included in the incentive prize drawing. If you don't get your cards done in time for the drawing, that's okay- just post to the thread once you get that month done so I can mark you off the list.
Count me in! I need the "boost" to create these throughout the year and not wait until September or October. I'll also try to not peek at any other cards (i think i can, i think i can, i think i can) :p
Great cards!! Congrats on getting your first month finished already!! There is no 'guilt' in this challenge...if you miss a month, no big deal! ;) Just pick up where you left off the next month!! Welcome to the group!!
I have completed my first 10. Thanks to lots of ideas from the gallery I made 10 cards using The Snowflake Spot set. Now my 30 year old daughter wants to use the set to make her Christmas card.
I will try to get them into my gallery tomorrow. Off to bed tonight. Need to get a few Christmas foods made tomorrow.
I'm so excited to be playing! Here's my first submission. I don't have a clue how to do the link-up like everyone else. But I'll add the picture to my gallery with the recipe as well.
