Default Organizing Acrylic Stamps...Sharing

I'm sharing my pictures of how I organized my acrylic stamps.

I used a large binder 8 1/2 x 11, Insert Sheets, White Paper, and Transparency sheet to stick them to. Now, I can see them better and organized them alphabetically also, Alphabets, Boys, Christmas, Friends, and such. I know I saw this by somebody, so I thank them. But, I love the idea and I think I'm ready for another binder already.

Will post link..once they all get in.

This is how I store all of my Clear Stamps.

I used a 9x9 Scrapbook Album, Took the white sheets out of the Clear page. and then attached the Clear Stamps to the white sheet. Then I placed them in the Clear page.

I then pull out the White page to pick a Clear stamp and then use it, clean it put it back.

I used a transparency sheet with white cardstock (so you can see the stamp better)...so when you pull out the transparency it is completely sticking to the transparency.

I love it...I need another one.

That's a wonderful idea! They look so organized and it would make it easy peasy to search them! Great job and TFS!

I thought I read somewhere on here that the stuff that transparencies are made of can ruin your stamps????

Some plastics react to other plastics.. unfortunately not all stamps are made with the same materials. SOme folks here may have specific brands that have issues with certain types of plastics or PVC reactions. It's unfortunately sometimes a trial and error situation. I could go into a whole chemical explanation here, but it's not going to help much in regards to giving you names of certain stamp companies and certain sheet protector companies that aren't compatible with each other.

If your that concerned, keep and use both the top and bottom plastic sheeting that comes with your stamp and put that in the sleeve. Its a barrer between the other plastics.

It would be better if you Didn't do this! Clear Transparency Can ruin your Cling on the unmounted Rubber Stamps.

The best thing to do would be to get some of those White Storage boards. And put them in a 3 ring notebook.

I'll post a couple of photo's of what I'm talking about.......

I found the White Stamp storage boards at The Angel Company. They come in a set of 3 per package and sell for about $4.00 a package.

No I did not put them in a Plastic Sleeve. but you can if you wish.

I just zip my notebook up and it keeps in them inside safe and sound.

So your rubber stamps need to have cling on them, right? Just naked rubber isn't going to work?

Besty,

The stamps I use on these Plastic White Storage boards have Cling foam on them.

I would think that you could use tape to stick them to the Storage boards.

Yes I just put them on without covering them! They don't need to be covered.

They stay put. and beside the notebook I have them in will zip close.
