I had completely forgotten it would be coming soon, so imagine my excitement when I found it in my mailbox today!! It is so good!! It has TWO alphabet sets and MORE PETAL PRINTS! Oh my gosh, I'm just so excited. Just wait till you see it. AND!!!!!!! It has gingham ribbon and it says that the gingham ribbon will be in future mini's and the next catty. It also has the vintage brads again and says they, too, will be in future mini's and the next catty. I love that they're telling us that in advance!!
I could just tell you about all of the sets, they're so cool!
Thanks for sharing this. I have a few questions though. First, do either of the new alphabet sets resemble the (sadly) retired Retro Alphabet set? Secondly, I truly regret not getting the Petal Prints. Is it as nice as the first one? Thanks!
If it's gotten as far east as Iowa to Jana, maybe there's hope it might hit Chicago tomorrow Bad enough I have to stalk the UPS man...now the mail carrier too!
Petal prints is just as cute as the first one however, not as many in a set. As for the alphabet, neither looks like the retro. Sorry!

I got mine today! I am trying so hard to limit myself to only 1 or 2 sets in each mini catty. This one is going to be hard. I love the "Flower factory" if that is what it is called. The gingham ribbon is a hit too! But, I am going to stick with my plan and only get 1 or 2 sets. (maybe 3? he he!)
The alphabet set is mixed upper and lower case with a vintage feel, it's called collage alphabet. It looks sooo cute! It also has numbers!! I would so love to get this set, but does anyone know if previous mini alphabet sets have graduated to the big cattie?? I hate to get it and not be able to demonstrate it next year. The set Toucan of My Love is just adorable too!

Remember that the alphadots made it to this catty from a mini so there is hope. I can't wait to see the new mini, but I'm on the east coast so I probably won't get mine until the end of the week.

The pattern has pretty much been that when an alphabet is in a mini catty it makes it into the new catalogue. Brushstroke alphabet used to be in a mini catty. Of course there are no guarantees.

I can't wait to see the new Mini! Any signs of one on the East Coast? I don't need to spend more money now , but.......... I LOVED Petal Prints, and sure hope it will be in the new Catty next July.

I liked the wheel guide they put out. No more gaps in my wheeling or overlaps. I can't wait to order that. I may push me into getting some more wheels. I didn't really like the More Petal Prints. I really like the orginial. Why only 3 stamps????

Where can I find the wheel guides you are referencing here? Are you meaning in the new Winter Mini Catalog or the 2004-2005 Idea Catalog?

So- is the vintage alphabet just 26 letters, but some are upper and some are lower? or are there 26 upper and 26 lower?
And, did someone say a 'curvey' alphabet?
Since it's the "WINTER" mini, are there more snowman, snowflake, etc... stamps like in the holiday mini? or are they more valentine, flowers, and ??? what else???
I'm on the East Coast so I'm sure it will be Friday before I see mine.

Well, whe wheel guide is a clear ruler type, collapsible gadget with foam feet that helps you align your wheeling without gaps or overlaps. It looks to be at least 12 inches. The "collage" alphabet is like vintage newspaper clipped letters (kind-of like a ransom note, only really cute, not frieky!) It's a set of 28 that has mixed upper and lower. Then there's a separate set of numbers. The second alphabet set is lowercase letters within hearts, and again a separate number set.
The gingam ribbon comes in light pink, light blue, red and black. There are no snowmen sets - there's only one set about cold weather called "Bundle Up" and it's adorable. It's got a cute ice skate, a sweater, mittens, hat, snowflakes and "brrr..." sentiment. Then there's a vintage office set, a couple Valentine's sets, a red hat type set, and many others.
OH! and a great background stamp called "Canvas" that looks like gauze. I can't wait to get it. I know it's gonna be super versitile.
