I'm doing these cute ornaments made from milkbones that I saw on another thread! The kids will make them themselves. They're super cute and super easy! Let me know if you want directions. Or a picture.

They're very cute. But just be aware that perhaps not all kids in the class celebrate Christmas.
I'm using the small coils for the Bind-It-All (I have 100+ and they are too small for most of the BIA projects I do) to make small snowman notebooks for my son's class. I'm putting them with Christmas pencils and erasers from the $$ store. No candy!! Another mom in the class goes absolutely nuts and gives them tons each holiday.

snowman soup is a new christmas mug, inside is a envelope of hot chocolate, a candy cane to stir it with and a couple of hershey kisses to make it more chocolatey, there are cute little poems to tie on the mug
I just found out this week that our teacher needed a snowman craft for next Tuesday for 25 3rd graders. I'm so swamped and don't really have time to prep, so we're going to make "melted snowmen" which I found online (not sure where though). Take an empty water bottle, put in googlie eyes, black beads, snowflake sparkles, small piece of orange foam. Tie a plaid scarf around the neck of the bottle and attach the poem. Pretty cute, cheap and very fast. Yeah!
Sorry, I can't credit the original artist!
Here's the poem I found to go with it.
I made a little snowman, as perfect as can be
I thought I'd keep him in my room and keep
him warm like me.
But when I woke next morning my mind was in a muddle.
He's run away, I don't know why and left me with a puddle.
Isn't that just super cute?
