It's time to look to the stars...the Tag Punch Starburst are lighting up the crafting sky. These are so very beautiful and much easier to make than they appear.
What you will need for this challenge:
Large Tag Punch
Small Tag Punch
2-way glue pen or other glue
cardstock
Mulberry, vellum or other light-weight paper
detail scissors

I sort of cheated with my sample for this one, as I actually made this card quite a while ago, but you can see my sampleHERE.
To see ALL of the samples of the Tag Punch Starburst, visit the Gallery HERE - or just search for Tag Punch Starburst in the gallery for more inspiration.
Be sure to use the keyword of TLC199 (no spaces) when you upload your cards.
Hint for next week: Keep the tissue paper handy for this fun technique.
No way I'm second! Woohoo! I haven't done one of this in a long time....hope to get to play today. Thanks Lynn.

Dangit! I'll have to sit this one out as I don't have these punches. I think they are the only ones I don't have! LOL
Me too. SHoot, maybe I can substitute the vellum.

Thanks Lynn, Can't play today...missing one of the punches...maybe I will play with some other punches and see what I can come up with. Thanks for the challenge. D
I'm in the same boat as a few others, I only have one of the punches.
C'mon along! If you have the large one, just stamp it twice, and trim "inside" the lines about 1/8" for the smaller image.
Or, if you have the smaller punch, simply trim the 2nd ones "1/8"" outside the lines! I promise that none of us are going to 'measure' your tag elements! ;)
Yes - and you don't have to punch out the center to create a really interesting design! I guess an added challenge would be to creatively find a way around the punches if you don't have both.

Thanks for the tips. I will try it then...thanks

I love the look of this starburst. I don't have the punches, but I have some tag templates from Paper Wishes, so I can try to fake it. I'll post if I'm successful. Great challenge.

Lynn,,,,I will be back later to play. I LOVE this star and have never made one successfully. I get too impatient and my points don't match.
TODAY is the day.............
Thanks for another great challenge.

shhhh...don't tell anyone, but my first one or two attempts were trashed...lol But once I figured it all out, I didn't have any more trouble with the technique!

Thanks Lynn. Have made these before (in my gallery) but not today.. I had to borrow a customer's big punch to do it last time, don't think she'd let me have it just for the challenge! lol I'll sit back and watch everyone else today.
This is just stunning! I wish I had the punches too, lol! Great challenge though Lynn! I just love your challenges, they are so awesome. I dont always have the good stuff to play, but enjoy looking at the wonderful creations!
You know some of us just can't follow the rules, so instead of a starburst flower, I made a star burst quilt pattern by cutting out sections with my exacto knife. Here's mine:

I just love these starbursts but when I made one a few weeks ago, it was very time-consuming as I only had one size tag punch, so had to hand cut around it for the border...never again until I get a second punch. So I'll sit this one out but will link you to my former card: STARBURST

Thanks Lynn for the fun challenge today! I have never done one of these before and it was easier than I thought it would be. I only did a single layer so that I could mail it. Here is the link to my card: Snow Swirled for TLC199 by stampkat at Splitcoaststampers
