The only thing, which makes no sense I know, is that all my fonts are on my desk top pc in our office, and I use this laptop in my stamp room...oh well, I guess I will have to download a bunch of fonts for this laptop now and get that software

[QUOTE=scrappingmelissa;12352025]yes use any usb cable. there is a port on the back of the cricut. There is a yahoo group which has tons of free files.
Maybe now I'll be able to convince DH to get that a beloved Cricut for Christmas. I wanted one last year but some "salesperson" at Michael's told DH that you have to buy a bunch of cartridges and it gets expensive. Ugh! Probably the only male that works in the store and my hubby has to find him- LOL!

This is cool - I have a question though. I assume that the cricut has to actually be connected to the computer to use the font since there is no actaul storage in the cricut itself, right? So when I go to crops etc, I wouldn't be able to use it?

if you have a laptop you can take it with you and use your ciricut anywhere.
I saw this in my Mike's the other day. I am getting a Cricut for Xmas-and plan on picking up the software too. Great idea!! Maybe Santa can bring it to me in my stocking. Thanks for the tip on Inkscape.
