This is a spin off of the post 'a good mail day'
I think I get an average of 3 to 4 a week. Which means I'm placing that many online orders a week. Mostly small orders, but still all come in separate packages.
So, anyone else on a first name basis with their mailman and love brown days?
Erin

I have been ordering alot more lately, so I have been getting about 2 or 3 parcels a week. My 3 yr old loves going to the post office and giving the ladies the parcel slip that is in our mail box, it gives her something to talk about the rest of the day. I think that stampers should be rewarded for helping keep the economy going with the purchases that we make all the time, just my thoughts.
I've gone from 2-3 a week to 2-3 a month, if that. And those orders are much smaller. I no longer am lured by free shipping with a minimum purchase. Just order what I really really want.
I passed up so many sales this past week that my head is spinning!!

Lately I have been getting a lot more packages than usual. Between ordered Christmas gifts and a few little things that I just couldn't resist for myself.... I'm getting 3 or 4 a week. I think I need to put myself in spending time-out.....
I cut down on my craft spending so I average between 1-3 packages a month. And they are a lot smaller than they used to be. Sometimes only $20 per order.
Love this thread! I live in the country and roads can get icky...I love shopping online or by catalog and do quite a bit of evilbay. My mailbox is this huge "farm" sized one and thankfully it holds most of it. Some weeks I get about 3-4. Lately I've been holiday shopping and I'm getting a few more.
The funny thing is that the lady across the street is what I call monkey see and monkey do. If I put up yard lights, she puts them up. I had bird feeders, she got them, We mow lawn, they go out and start mowing lawn. We had no living room furniture and bought some...she had to have new furniture. Even something as strange as gravel for the driveway. Anyhow...this gal must keep a fairly close eye on my mailbox and she says to her daugher "what SHE'S getting ANOTHER package?". Must be some jealousy there...

That was my post. And a VERY unusual day for me. LOL!
I have been making a lot of my Christmas gifts and cards. So I've been ordering things to use on them. I've also been ordering lots of my gifts. I'm not feeling well, so I haven't been going out shopping for gifts, clothes or anything else for that matter. So the Brown man has been here a lot lately.
In general, I'd say one to two per week. I belong to a SU monthly club, a CTMH monthly club and one scrapbook kit club (but this is my last month for that). Then I generally order a couple of other things per month.
I've been so bad lately - especially with all the releases every few weeks!! (not to mention all the thanksgiving/holiday sales :oops I'm averaging 3-4 per week!!
I guess everyone's getting used stamps for Christmas
I seem to average one a day....some days three at once...and some days nothing.
However I have to say this: I have three kids and I live in the middle of NOWHERE...I do all my shopping online, from clothes, shoes, printer ink, electronics, video games, cookware, even dog food....and everything in between. I go to Wal-mart about once every two weeks for groceries/basics.
For the cost of gas to drive my big SUV anyplace that sells decent shoes, it costs $30 roundtrip, plus lunch and coffee...you know...LOL
So I honestly save a ton of money shopping at home!!
As for craft supplies, probably 2-3 packages a week are for my habit...however often times it's a bit of paper, ribbon or brads from Ebay...only probably one larger *store* order comes each week just for me.

Creativestampers (not sure if right co/4 sets of nesties)
Still coming:
TAC order
EBay order
Flourishes order...
Oriental trading
Oh my...glad my hubby travels so he doesnt see all the packages coming in...but you know I always need new stuff for the soldier cards...
Blessings.
Gosh I wish I got just a teenie tiny little package everday, its like a min Christmas or Birthday. I get maybe 1 every week or two. It seems like it goes in spurts, I get 2 or 3 in one week, then nothing for a week or two.
I would much rather shop on-lin than go to the store! When I order SU I order about $300 worth at a time, so that is only evey few months.
If you're talking about fun deliveries for me, I've been cutting back (especially after dh showed me how much we've spent this year). I haven't received a package in over a month, and probably won't for a while because I'm saving my craft allowance for a Cricut Expression. Luckily enough I've been a stamper for 7 years, and was a SU! Demo for 4 of those years, so I've got a nice stash of supplies built up.
Well, last March I qualified for the Joann free shipping club. Oh man. Free shipping for the rest of the year with a $10 minimun. So - I get about 1 per week. Throw in a couple of other online purchases and I'm at about 6 per month. Of course if I get lucky, my husband only sees about 2 a month.

I got one package this week (Stampin' Up!) but that's not normal for me. Except for the month that I did a recipe swap, I'm lucky to get 6 packages a year. I don't do too much on-line shopping.
But if I had the money and the choice, I would have my UPS driver come to my house every day. He is Mr. McDreamy. :p
I really do need to cut back...I dont want to know what I have spent this year...
I love the packages coming to my door...hard habit to break.
Blessings
when I first started on ebay it was like Christmas everytime I picked up the mail. that was a about a yr ago. But I have had to cut way back in the last 6 months. Husband was in a motorcycle accident-hince out of work. Then we moved half way across the country for a new job. YEAH LOVE THE NEW JOB! So I was only getting maybe 2 or 3 a month and most were for my sister-in-law who travels all the time. But I think I will be qualifing for the joann's free shipping club very early in the year. lol
Now do we count what is spend in person at say oh, hobby lobby. Now that is a scary thought. I only bought two things that were not on sale. (spare parts embellishments half off) One of my many craft downfalls.

We used to have neighbors that watched us off their back porch with binoculars. New to farming and we didn't exactly do things the "right" way or the way it's always been done. Oh well they were good times and it was amusing to do crazy things so they would get all huffy.

I'm a zero too! If I get a package it must be from someone who likes me a lot because all I get in the mail is junk mail and bills. I guess I should get shoppin'.

If you mean stamping-related purchases... I'm way way way down. I probably used to get 1-3 packages a week for long stretches. But now, I think I could *almost* say that I have enough stamps and paper, etc. Weird, eh? Never thought I'd say that. My power to resist is really kicking in these days. Finally!!
Really, I look online and passed up several great sales recently. Although I've just become a big fan of Cornish Heritage Farms and they have releases all the time, so that one's been tough. And I will ALWAYS check to see what Papertrey has each month. But the must-haves are getting to be few and far between.
Between pifs, orders and swaps I have been getting 13-15 a week since the begining of October. My postal lady thinks I've gone insane.
