Hi everyone! I'm kinda lost...I need to make a gift, preferably something involving stamping for under $10 to exchange at my monthly card club meeting. Any ideas???
I was in an exchange for my stamping group. I bought makeup sponges, nail files, Q-tips in a container at the Dollar Tree. They also had pop-dots and some cute stickers in the craft area. I filled a gift bag and then added Cats eye inks from AC Moore.
I'm in a pen pal group and our limit was $10 each for one person (we sort of picked names out of a hat)...I bought and had stuff still in it's packages like brads, ribbon, rhinestones, glitter, I made an ornament, bg paper (6x), there's all sorts of stuff a stamper would like. The same lady ended up getting me, ribbons, rhinestones, self-stick pearls, ornament, ribbon holder, etc....I just love everything as much as she loved everything I got her too.
Check out the gallery for Bag-A-Lope. Of course everyone's definition is slightly different. I wouldn't necessarily call this picture below a bag-a-lop, but this was one of our projects for stamp club and everyone loved it. Mine had praline pecans inside.

Your Bag-A-Lope is beautiful! Very pretty! I love the idea! It's making me hungry too! LOL! Btw, you're red-headed Dorthy is by far one of the cutest "Dorthy's" that I've ever seen! Just plain adorable!
I have to have a $10 gift for this Saturday, and I purchased a sent of clear stamps (Inkadinkadoo I think) at Michaels with a coupon, so only a little over $6!

I;ve been in a stamp group for 6 or 7 years,. We have an annual Christmas party with a $10.00 gift exchange. We all get something stamping related. sets of stamps, paper pads, scrapbooks, ect. But the other fun thing we do is a mini $1.00 swap for each member. Embelishments !! a variety of fun things then we make special handmade packages for. Its so much fun .we pass them out and open them to see all the goodies inside. A great variety of things you may not ever find, like game pieces, watch parts, old clock hands, buttons, charms or brads. So I,m always on the lookout for something unusual to add to the package. Last year I did packages with microscope slides I cut and copper foil tape. Its a blast, everyone Loves this part the best!!
