The most expensive stamp set ever?!!
Wow, I thought I'd seen it all until I saw this
ebay post listing a vintage Rudolph stamp set for $345 ! Anybody want it? It has free shipping. ;)

Are you sure they didn't make a mistake when they entered the price? The set is cute but at that price do you think that it will sell?

People have offered something for it... I wonder what the offers were! LOL! But ya know what ladies, maybe we're looking at it wrong...
I mean, 15 stamps in the set... Free shipping... Only $345 for the set... That's only $23 per stamp! LMAO!!! YEAH RIGHT!

Ok, the MOVIE is vintage, but I am guessing the set is not. After all it is only in the past 17 or 18 years that full-color stickers have been fairly widely used.
I guess I am old enough to not think 20 years is "vintage"

The stamps are circa 2001 - it says so in the description doesn't it.
I tried to look at the bid history but I guess things have changed because it says I'm not allowed to look, which to me is weird.

after seeing the other set posted, rubber mounted probably; she has to
have had typed in the wrong price; but doesn't that affect your
charge for posting sale even if you don't sell it, don't they rate your ad price by the amount of the sale? It would be funny
if she got a surprising bill and it didn't sell

One funny thing here. Is I've seen these at Hobby Lobby Craft stores in the Clearance bins.
I would think if they were Vintage. They would have NO Color Stickers like these do.
At the most they are around 5 or 6 years old.

Surely it is a mistyped price.
I don't remember the hippo drag queen from the Christmas movie either.

I don't know what she's thinking...I just looked at her feedback and everything but one set she's sold has gone for less than $10! Sheesh! Take a hint!

I have 3/4 of those stamps and want the other 1/4 but I'm not crazy enough to bid on that auction. Up until a few days ago, there was a competing seller selling almost the same set of stamps for a mere $225 or something like that (she also received no bids).
PS: I bought all of my Rudolph stamps at Hobby Lobby on clearance between $1.75 - $5. But darn it, I didn't get Mr. & Mrs. Claus! Now if just those two stamps went on the auction block....

She'd only pay a large fee if it sold, not just for listing it, but still. Kinda crazy!!!
