DGC06 12.02.08 (12 x 24 page)
I have a very busy day tomorrow, so I thought I would post before heading to bed tonight. I know I am being bad, but it's now or never. Hopefully nobody will see it until the morning - likely considering the time and my time zone.
After the difficult challenge from last week, I thought it would be good to have an easier one. So, the challenge this week is to create a 12 x 24 page, with a photo in the middle of the page.
When you create your page, just create with these dimensions. For printing, save it in 2 pieces. Here's the steps:
1. Save it complete.
2. Cut 12 x 12 from the left, and you will be left with 12 x12 on the right. Save that page.
3. Go back to the full page, cut 12 x 12 from the right, and you will be left with 12 x 12 on the left.
4. Print them separately, but you can post them together! Not only can you post them together, but it is helpful when using the photo-editing software to have both pages linked in one large page (at least I think so).
Obviously, you can use this method of scrapping for regular pages, and not just when a photo is in the middle, but I thought that would add to the challenge since most of the time we try to keep pictures on one page or another. This adds a different twist to a page.
Examples:

If you play along, please share your hard work with us and upload to your gallery! Make sure you add DGC06 to your keywords (additional keywords are OK, just separate them with commas), and PLEASE post a link here in this thread; we would NOT want to miss it! Wow. I've looked at all the pages created digitally and they are so cool. Does anyone know if the Creative Memories Memory Manager 2 with the Storybook Creator 2.0 free software does digital scrapping and if so, how does one go about getting it going? Or is it something that has to be done through Creative Memories? Thanks in advance for any info!

Keepin' Warm
I do all of my pages 12x24, s this was a piece of cake..esp. since I used a great template by Paper Iris. You should check her our, she has some great freebies that are great for beginners.
Here's my take:

Here's another VSBN double page spread. Wasn't sure how to separate the 2 since this was a 12x24 digi layout but I figured once it was printed, it would be cut down the middle so then they would be further apart.
Sunrise to Sunset
Thanks for looking!

This evening I made a family Christmas scrapbook page that is 12 x 24 in size.I combined Digital Scrapbooking Challenges DGC04, FDC05, DGC06, and DGC09 in this one page.
DGC04 had me using at least 4 fonts on the page. I have used five fonts.
DGC05 had me modifying the effects on a picture to make it look like a sketched pencil picture.
DGC06 is to created a 12 x 24 page with a picture in the center of the page.
DGC09 has me putting multiple pictures on the same page (as many holiday pictures as you can). I was going for a hallway feel with picture on the wall. I think I got that going for a Victorian look.
