I was able to play in my new room all day on Saturday and Sunday. It is so much better for me. Everything is easily accessible making it so easy for the creative juices to flow. I even made 32 birthday cards over the weekend.
I am so thankful to him for taking the time to create a wonderful room for me!

My guinea pig's name is Munchy. He is the first piggy I have had that does not like carrots, only apples and macs at that. He is rather moody and has been know to bite. Any ideas to get him to be friendlier would be appreciated!!!

If I may ask, where did you get the tall white cabinets? They'd match my room perfectly. : )
Everything that is in the picture After #1, the cabinets, shelves and countertop, were purchased at Lowe's. I liked them because the doors have a nice design unlike the Closemaid ones which were flat but they do not look like kitchen cabinets.

Thank you so much for the info. The best part is that I have a merch credit for Lowes that I can use to get one. :-D
Looks great, hope mine turns out that good. I am also getting an upgrade for christmas. I hope that my husband is as good as yours. DH is not the greatest when it comes to woodworking and that kind of thing so I told him to keep it simple. We'll see how it turns out, hopefully in the next day or two since I told him I really needed it so I could get the christmas cards done ;)

WOW - it looks great. I bet you just walk into the room and stare at how nice it is - taking the newness in.
I'm sure many great projects will be created there.
Tell your DH all us SCS ladies are swooning over him! LOL
Merry Christmas Diane, Enjoy your new space

It's BEAUTIFUL! I don't think I could get any work done. I would just sit with a silly smile on my face and enjoy the gift. What a wonderful present from your DH, enjoy it everyday as a tangible reminder of his love for you.

I walk into my craft room just to look sometimes. I still cannot believe the difference! My DH rocks!
Guinea's from the pet store can be moody at first. Handle him as much as you can manage. Carrots are not a favorite of my guys either. Try giving him romaine while you hold him and pet him, just keep away from the mouth until he gets used to you.
