I spent $100 so far. You can get the gifts you want all sent to the places you want AND buy a gift for the SCS mods automatically! No crowds! No hassle!
Show the mods some love!

I've placed two orders totaling over $300. Love Amazon -- that's the first place I go for a lot of my needs to see if they have it. Even order my toothbrush refills through them. No tax, no shipping. What's not to like.
I did the majority of my shopping on Amazon today, but I didn't know about going through SCS. Can you post details?
I guess it's really too late. My kids wanted books and DVDs, so I spent $200 today on Amazon. I wish they had a coupon for me to use. Free shipping is awesome, but I didn't need any of their Black Friday deals.
To the lady from Ohio who doesn't pay taxes on Amazon: you are very lucky! I thought every state had caught on to that by now. Maryland has been charging tax on mail orders for several years. We also get charged tax on shipping and handling, which really makes me angry!
Between my mom and me, we've spent $1400 with them in the last week or so. I've gone through SCS for all of it so that my MARVELOUS Mods can have a piece of it.

Look on the home page of SCS, about the 3rd paragraph down. There is a lot of info there. I did not re read it now, but when I first saw it there was something said about being able to get credit for previous shopping. SCS gets a nice little amount, so it could be worth checking out.

At the bottom left corner of SCS homepage, there is a link to Amazon, if you start to shop from here, a little bit will go to SCS every time. This time of the year, the proceeds from holiday shopping are split up between the mods, something I like to support! I think you have to start your shopping from SCS's homepage, but it is worth a shot to email Daven and ask if you can fix it after the fact!

Actually, when I file my state taxes, I am asked to list how many $ I've spent where I've paid no tax. I mentally calculate the bigger ticket items I've bought and pay the tax then. However, many people I know, have just skipped that part. I'm pretty sure, after this year, we will have to pay the tax at the time of purchase. It's still so convenient to get the things in two days and not have to stand in line and fight the crowds.
I am thinking of buy my daughters one big gift this year, a Wii. I was thinking to buy it through Amazon so glad I found this post about the benefits for SCS. My question is...I have no idea what to get with all the bundles, games, etc. are and of course I want the best deal. What parts do I need? Can any of you help me? Don't mean to hijack this thread so if you want to pm me that would be great.
I did, I did! I didn't order too much ~ but there was a deal that I couldn't pass up last friday... so glad I checked Amazon out & went thru SCS to get there...
I buy Christmas presents all year long whenever I find a good buy, so I've done most of my shopping already. But, I do have 2 more people to buy things for and Amazon does carry what I want, so I will be buying it there!

I placed my first order on Amazon yesterday. It already shipped, which is amazing since I got the free shipping, which usually means slow to ship. I plan to order more, just need to remember to enter through SCS. I usually get 1/2 way through the order and then remember and have to start over.

I shopped at Amazon last month, and shortly there after my credit card had fraudulent charges. They had to stop my account and issue me a new account, which took over a week. Just a warning to those who purchase there. Personally, I'm done with amazon after this incident. Hope all of you have better luck!
It was SO easy and the shipping was SUPER QUICK (2 days!) WOW! I did not have fraud issues so I'm sure I will place another order b4 Christmas...what a GREAT way to help the Mods!
