Sorry for the late post, I'm at my mom's with no internet...my friend Dana is posting for me (waving hi from Dana! ).
Now for the card! I knew it was my turn to host on my daughter Mila's birthday so I took the opportunity to let her inspire my Challenge: LSC196. Her favorite color is pink...so you are to use pink somewhere on your card or project, she's turning 3 so what better than to limit the layers and embelishments to 3! Last but not least...she loves animals, so an animal must be used in the card or project!
So, here are the guidelines, all list-like:
Stamps: Any animal, plus 2 more (a max of 3 stamps)
Paper and Ink: Any 3, one must be pink
Embellishments: Any 3 embellishments, but no more than 3
***Gel pen counts as an embellishment.
***Paper piercing counts as an embelishment
***patterned paper counts as a layer.
***Bonus points for using a number in your design.
use as many punches and tools as you want...cuttlebug and bigshot away!
Oooh looks like fun! Can't wait to play. NO Way I"m #2 today! Woohoo! Must be everyone is shopping LOL!

Currently designing for some great companies!!!
I just so happen to "need" to stamp today, and I L-O-V-E limited supply challenges! It won't be until tonight, though, bummer.

This is a TOUGH one for me, as that I don't have many pink stuff. We'll give it a try though.

A Penny Black Christmas with hints of pink
Gosh, was that hard. I think / hope I complied with all the criteria. Please let my little sentiment not count as a layer , I had to do something to fill that corner up a bit.
But I have to say I did enjoy it - so thank you, Silvia, for planning it even when birthday celebrations were on your mind.
I didn't even try for bonus points for a number.
If I were Mothermark I might say there is a number hiding under the pearl brad - a countdown till Christmas. LOL.
hmmmm......trying to figure out how to make my sister's card (she's not a "pink" type of gal) and fit this challenge.....to be continued....(thinking,thinking, thinking)
I found the three layer rule very hard to follow! LOL I kept wanting to add a basic grey mat on my card so I ended up sponging basic grey ink around the edges of each layer. Here is my card - Wishing Ellie
