buy me stamps for Christmas and I'm having a hard time coming up with a wish list.
I KNOW !!!
IS SHE NUTS????!!!!
Let me first start by telling you that I am in a stmp club so I already spend money monthly.
Here is my (his really) criteria:
make a list of:
12 sets,
10 accessories (he says it WAY to afeminant (sp?) and make me laugh! even funnier if you really know him!)
He will then choose what HE likes and put the order in with my demo in a sealed envie.
I am about to close on a party on Sunday. So I need to get this done.
Last year Spring Garden in the caddy was an "eehhh - not really catching me" until I saw my demo's smapler set and used it in a workshop - Bought it right then and there!
SO.... that being said:
So far on my list is:
STAMP SETS:
Happiest of Holidays (mini) (already have the wheels!)
IFB
Summer by the Sea (I have the other 2 complimenting sets)
Right at home
All wrapped up
Wonderful Wings
Brighter Tomorrow
ACCESSORIES:
The Tool Kit
Wrought Iron Punch
Channel box for my Aphas (demo said she can get me one!)
Crimper
I know you ALL have an opinion on this - HELP ME SPEND HIS MONEY!!!
He will probably sepdn jsut over $100 - that will also take my show to 300 for I have another $35 with which to play.
Am I being totally brain dead???? I can't come up with FIVE more sets and a few more accessories - I honestly have looked throough the catty even trying to find "...hmm.... maybes".
Some of my favorites are In Full Bloom, Terrific Tulips, Roses in Winter, and of course Wonderful Wings. For accessories, I use the eyelets all the time, and the metal edge tags are great, and I don't have any Fancy Fibers but would love to get some. Get wire works if you're getting the accessory kit.

It's hard to make suggestions without knowing what you already have.... or even something about you, such as:
do you have kids and if so, what age?
do you have pets?
do you do more cards or scrapbooks?
do you travel much?
do you like the bold stamps or things to color/fill in?
etc.

Don't forget an alphabet set...thought I would never need one...but "Classic Alphabet" will be on my next order. Also any of the the All Year Cheer sets would be very versatile. Wonderful Words is a great addition to any collection. I've also used Watercolor Garden II so many ways... you can match virtually any floral wrapping paper (or create your own) let alone the cards or pages you will be able to create with that set!!

Have you looked through the gallery to help inspire your list?! I know that every time I look at the beautiful work other ladies have done with sets, I need to add them to my wish list! Plus, then if you do get one of the sets, you'll already have some great ideas to CASE!!
As far as accessories, some of my top choices are Pearl-Ex, Aqua Painters and the die cut box & tag sheets>
HTH!!

Definitely In Full Bloom, and in my opinion, Wonderful Words compliments this set SO well. For sure the crafters tool kit, and all of the new punches are awesome. I am having the most fun playing with the snowman and the slit punch right now. All wrapped up is a very fun set, and you need the accessorie set too. The new designer paper and vellums are really neat. Everyday flex phrases and if you go with Alpha dots, definitely get the 1/4" punch to punch out the letters.
Oh, and by the way, if my husband did this, I would have a list five miles long to him before he even sat down  ! And, I am a demo who pretty much buys everything from the catty as it is...(which is why I am a demo), but I always have a running wish list.
how about Lovely as a Tree or Fantastic Foliage? Of course his masculine side might appeal to Noble Deer or Wildfowl, possibly Angler? I've seen lots of beautiful cards with All Natural. How about some good background stamps like By Definition or Just Jeans? On Safari is nice as well, especially to go with some of the masculine sets. Can you tell I have a big wishlist? Do you need some Crystal Effects? Maybe some Sticky Tape? Need a good punch or two? Try the new Aqua Painter! Okay, I better stop now. I'm getting too excited
Lastel, the scary thing is I'm not even a DEMO! I'm going on a scrapbooking retreat this weekend and am already having withdrawal symptoms from this website and stamping in general! Yikes!
Novell, I know what you mean about withdrawal, I went thru that when I was on vacation this past summer. I am so addicted to this site it's not funny.I spend hours a day on here.
I would agree with:
lovely as a tree
all natural
the matalllic cord
Do you have all the seasons covered?
Easter, St Pats, Halloween, etc?
How about the mini catalog?
Have fun choosing and stamping, Boxing Day will be stampin day at your house!!

Almost forgot - how about reinkiers? I am usually in need or one or two colors of them.

How about Everyday Flexible Phrases. A million and one uses for this one. But see if your friendly neighborhood demo will mount it for you. I typically enjoy mounting stamps, but this one tried my patience. It was worth the effort, though. I use it all the time.
Oooh, I'm SO jealous! I try asking for stuff from my DH for Christmas, even give him my catty with the things I want highlighted, but it never works. :(
