After being totally inspired by my Party and my new President, I went on a search for Democratic party stamps. All I found was one image of a donkey with stars. Sooooo.... one of my favortie stamps stores is www.amazingarts.biz, I emailed them, and quickly received a reply that they are putting together a collection of Democrat/Obama stamps. The owner emailed me back this morning and said that he will have some samples to show me within a few days!!
After this election, I can see the potential for some stamps like this.
Anyway, for anyone interested Amazingarts is creating a line of stamps for us Democrats.
and no , I'm not affiliated with the web site, I'm just a proud Dem, affiliated with my party.

Reason: typo's
Ohhhhh.....those are too cute! Unfortunately I don't have a die cut machine. But I'm sort of thinking I might put the Cuttlebug on my Yule list. Would those dies work in a Cuttlebug do you think?

Ok, so to some out there this may be considered a cardinal sin, but you have to look at these brilliant cards I found on Cafe Press. I just might have to buy them.
No cardinal sin to me - in fact my Christmas list would look something like;;;
Dear Santa,
Thanks so much for giving me everything on my wish list:
1. Barack Obama
2. Joe Biden
3. The House
4. The Senate
And please be extra generous to "Joe the Plumber" and get him a real plumbers license, and Sarah Palin a geography book so that she can at least name the countries in the North American Free Trade Agreement.
I think Inaguration Cards would be a grand idea - or make a few politically themed cards as stocking stuffers for the pundits in your family.

Great thread. I like the idea of inaugeration day cards.
My LSS has been carrying a stamp that I think is hysterical. I can't remember the manufacturer (or the exact wording), but it reads something like this:
Well, the election is over and the winner announced. So now it's time to put aside our differences. Let's be friends again -- I will hug your elephant and you can kiss my ***.
I searched but couldn't find it online either. If anyone needs the manu. let me know and I can call LSS.
Have a nice day all.

Scott, from AmazingArts just sent me an email of the prototype designs.
You guys are gonna love em!!! There's 3 good images of Obama, 2 outstanding Democrat slogans, a realistic looking donkey, of course Uncle Sam, and very nice American flag for coloring in...... plus an abstract of a pathway to a new day/dawn image.
I just emailed him back and he will let me know when they are available on his website. I've ordered from them before, and they have great service, the price of a whole unmounted rubber sheet is about $22 (which is the competitive price ).
Anyway, it shouldn't be too long now.

OMG I just laughed so hard!! Thanks for making my day!
Just an update here on the Democrat/Obama stamp sheets
Scott from www.amazingarts.biz just sent me an email - and he has made a changes to the set. Changed some of the type, and best of all added the phrase " friends don't let friends vote Republican ".
So, for those of you that are thinking of ordering, and looking at the original thumbnails I posted - there have been a few modifications. I'll try to post pics of the new sheet later today.

Wow Mel, that's a great one! I already have it set to make as a stamp tomorrow.
BTW- I'm STILL a hippie, and Amazing Arts has tie dyed company uniforms. That way no one can tell if we spill the ink! =)

That rules! I don't know if I will actually use it, but I want it  I PMed you...
I can have that made and shipped tomorrow. Drop me a message for more info- they seem to keep deleting my posts. Apparently it's ok for everyone else to talk about the stamps we make and post links to our site but it isn't ok for me to do it...

No it's not actually. It's in the TOS. If you want to promote your company they ask they you either become a member company or buy advertising.
The are several links to our website posted above, only the ones I posted were deleted. It seems like an attempt at a money grab to me; I signed up the same as any other member but I can't post the same.
I'm waiting for someone to start a thread on Republican stamps so that I can show off our new 'Impeach Pelosi' and 'Buck Farack' designs. I am an equal opportunity offender, after all =)
Question for anybody...I visited the website, and I'm wondering what "polymer rubber stamps" consist of, lol? Are all of the stamps clear polymer? And some of them are sold mounted on wood? Not totally sure I'm getting it clearly...not terribly unusual for me, I'm afraid!
Here's one I heard this weekend that I think would make a FABULOUS stamp:
Rosa sat so Martin could march.
Martin marched so Barack could run.
Barack ran so our children can fly!
I'm a white, Jewish, northeastern liberal, ex-hippie veteran of the civil rights marches of my youth, and it made me cry.
Mel
I love this quote. Also white, Jewish, and liberal, but a little too young to be an ex-hippie veteran of civil rights marches! I have few actual memories of segregation in the south.
