Now, I will really have to think--the pics I pulled out to do next are of Virginia City--either those or Burney Falls--I really have to think about this one!!

Oh goodie--another one that looks pretty simple! I like working with paint also. I have a page I hope to do soon where I could incorporate this and maybe the faux sheers challenge. Just gotta find some time!

Thanks for coming up with fun challenges, Peggy!

I've finally gotten back into my "onestroke" painting and I've been dying to incorporate it into my scrapbooks. You can count me in for this one for sure Peggy!;)

welcome to the world of painting in your SP ;) Don't say I didn't warn you though, you'll be hooked! You can purchase Scrapbook paint and I have a few bottles by Lil' Davis Designs, but I also have just plain old Acrylic paint (Plaid/Apple Barrel and Folk Art). I would suggest if you don't have any, decide on a color or take some paper with you that you want to match, or go with a neutral color you use - like brown, cream, white, then play with it. I use a small foam brush or larger paint brush depending on what I'm painting.
[quote=fresshe;11964389]I dont paint very well either
but here is my attempt-I painted the roses and the back of the vellum journaling space--great idea Jodi!!
Here's my not so special page. Special Guests by Becky in NC at Splitcoaststampers
I used marker to draw my petals and photo corner on this page. This page was a challenge for me, because the photo is of poor quality (because of the lighting in the tent we were in) and the only colors in it are blue and white. That would be fine if I had blue paper! I only had scraps. The mat behind the photo is even pieced. So the flower really helped. I printed the gingham off the internet. Next time I think I'll switch the photo to black and white. :0)
