Sorry for the spelling error on the thread title. Lol! So not sure if this is new. But acouple hours ago I was at micheals and saw a martha stewart gingerbread border punch! I quickly grabbed it. It is so cute! Anyone else have one? I can't wait until I finally sit down and start doing projects so I can use it. Here's a pic of it in the box and the other is how it punches. Luckily I haven't run into any problems with any martha stewart punches I have gotten.
I just bought one too, along with the snowflake border.........I figured I better do it while they are still available............just like the Halloween drippy goo punch.....I saw it and thought.....next time I will get it and then before you know it they were hard to find and selling for over $100 on Ebay.......
If I could've been flexible enough I would have been bootin myself in butt all over the house for not getting one right away...........LOL
so I decided I wasn't going to hesitate this time....
Haven't used them yet but I am off this weekend so I will have to spend a few hours in my stampin' room and play.........
I was going to post this, you beat me to it! I bought mine today too, a gingerbread border punch because I knew that once stampers find out they're there they'll fly off the shelves. (who knew gingerbread men could fly?)

Lol, sorry. I was looking for other posts like this to!

And I agree with the flying off the shelves thing. Apart from the one I grabbed there was only one other left and I think I saw a woman lurking behind me to snatch it!
Just got back from Michaels with my gingerbread man border
I saw a deer I sort of liked but didnt get it.
Is there a gingerbread man punch (not the border)
I thought someone mentioned they got one on another thread, but I didnt see it on the shelf.
Ok Girls.........just went to Ebay and already the Gingerbread border punches are selling for 19.99 to 34.99.........I should've bought 2......oh well.....
Looks like they are going to be hard to find......again!

I don't think there is a gingerbread man punch. Only the edge punch. I bought the martha stamp set to go with it today.

I had to go back and get those too. They are very cute.
I had seen a card with a gingerbread man and thought it was a punch but later read it was from the new MS stamp set
There was a blank space at my Michael's in the MS section for a "gold scene" stamp set? Next to the Christmas Tree and Gingerbread house set. It seems to be already sold out. Anyone have a clue as to what this was? There was also a set with some cute little acorns and pinecones.

I just bought the Martha Stewart Snowflake punch today at my local Michael's, and I have to say that i am extremely disapointed! It shows on the punch a beautiful embossed snowflake in between the punched image. Is this the one that a few of you above referred to? The actual embossed snowflake doesn't look hardly at all like the one that you see on the punch itself. I am going to see if they will give me a refund, or an exchange tomorrow. I went to another Michael's as well today, and found a snowflake border punch that I liked better by EK Success. I took pictures of the two, and did a comparrison on my blog. If any of you want to see it, you can find me here: http://www.inspiredbypurple.blogspot.com
Check it out and let me know what you think, maybe I am just too particular.
I returned the MS snowflake embossed border punch. It looks nothing like on the punch itself. I tried it and didnt like it at all.
It actually looks as if the embossed snowflake doesnt work.
I took mine back and was disappointed because it looks good on the actual punch :(
I tried out my MS border punches......very disappointed in the embossing snowflake punch.:-( .........doesn't really emboss...more like cuts it half way......I will be returning it to Micheals but Love Love Love the gingerbread!
I got both the gingerbread boy and the snowflake. I like the gingerbread one but I must say I WAS disappointed with the snowflake.
Like you have been saying, the embossing is not great at all, hardly visible!
I can't help wondering if MS, herself, has seen this stuff! She always wants things soooo perfect and there seem to be a lot of complaints (and justifiably so) about her punches!
Her baking stuff was always very good quality-at least what I purchased.
I think MS should try using some of the punches WE got stuck with! LOL
Can't you just see her expression when she tries the Drippy Goo punch on her show and it won't go through cardstock? Or when the embossing does not show up on camera with that snowflake punch! LOL! Heads will roll, I'm sure! LOL!!!!!
I have that one, and I love it! I will be posting a christmas card using that one on my blog tomorrow (Monday), if you want to see it, you can find it at:

I purchased the smaller snowflake punch at ACMoore and the tips keep ripping off as it came through the punch, so I returned it and purchased a different snowflake punch, it has the same problem as it comes through the punch the tips are ripping off. I hate to go back to the store with another problem with her punch. The large snowflake punch I don't have a problem with it just seems to be the smaller ones that are not working properly. She needs to check her quality control and take care of this matter :(

Try going to the EK Success Web site (since they manufacture them), look for the contact us link, and tell them what happened and what you would like them to do about it. They were really nice to me when I complained about a punch of theirs. I asked for a replacement, and they sent it to me.
I bought the icicles border punch and use it all the time! The MS punches are so well made, and I like the fact that they are designed to stand ip. Easier to find than thrown in a drawer like the Fiskar ones!
Has anyone tried the deep edge punches yet? I was interested in hearing how those worked.
I have the Doily Lace Trim (looks like a strip of lace) and it works just great. However, I've had good luck with all her punches - and I have a lot of them. I must just be lucky
I have 4 of the deep edge punches..they seem heavier duty and punch through heavy cardstock like butter. I am loving these punches. They are beautiful. I just got the heart one the other day and it is sooooo beautiful.
blessings.
Yes, I love them too.....unfortunately my wallet doesn't! They are my new addiction. The deep border punches are fabulous. I keep telling myself "RESIST" but my coupon wins out every time.
