I worked out a neat thing to do to stretch the use of those small Cuttlebug Embossing Folders that gives me a wider range of embossed backgrounds. I have a sample on my blog as well as details on how to do it.
You do such totally neat work, always so full of detail.
this is great, how much patience and practice did it take?
I think you have more patience then the average person, and it shows in
your work.
Printed off the details to try soon also, thanks for sharing again

wickedly cool, too bad I don't have any of the smaller folders heheh..
but I am already thinking of ways to NOT cover up the hole in the middle...I am thinking frames..either for a 3 d embellie, or an actual picture.. new twist on the photo Christmas card.. or even the school wallet pics....
Scrubbybubbles, your card is awesome!! Wanted to get you word in case you're monitoring this thread. I'll be sure to comment too!
Hugs Becca
Thankyou becca! your instructions were great too. Very easy to understand. That's so helpful when I can understand them.....LOL I saw your comment to in the gallery. I really appreciate it! I LOVE your cards too btw. I've been admiring them for a while now. Very elegant.
Thank you Becca for sharing this great technique. I have a few of those small folders and wasn't sure what to do with them - who can pass up a clearance deal?? I'll be pulling them out tomorrow and give it a try. Your tutorial makes it look so easy! Your work is beautiful.
Thanks for sharing this Becca. I haven't got any of these smaller folders because I didn't think that they were versatile enough. I guess I just didn't think enough outside the square (pardon the pun) like you did.
I now have some more things on my wish list from my local store, I'm glad Christmas isn't too far away :-D.

You know what kills me as I sit here reading and looking at all the cool techniques? I don't even use the tools I have in my craft room, let alone play with them to do all this "extra" stuff!!! You guys are amazing!!!
Thanks so much for putting this out there. I've spent so much time trying to make the embossing folders less limited. This is such a blessing. I will be pulling them out again! (smile)
Gia, you can see that technique HERE. I haven't used it in a while but Sizzix also puts out those small embossing folders, so I have to give it a try with them also. Have fun with it
