What site do you use to make your blog?? Blogger? Wordpress? Typepad? There are quite a few free layouts you can use. You can also make your own images for things like your header or background. Each different blog program does things a little differently, but they are all not to hard to spice up a bit.

I had someone on ETSY design a "header" for mine because it is just not "my thing" to try and do myself. There are several on ETSY that do this and a wide variety of prices, I paid about $10. I would like to have something on my "sides" though, but haven't quite figured that out yet!

I saw a post on this forum about wallpaper/backgrounds so I went there and chose one that I really like. You can do this too. Go to The Cutest Blog on the Block, choose something you like and follow the directions to add it to your blog.

Thank you SO MUCH for that link. I just checked it out and found a background that I just HAD to have.

I've been seriously neglecting my blog for a long time now. It's like I'm starting to lose interest.

I had the same problem. I found this site however, and it has some great backgrounds for free. You can look at my blog and see my background. But go to this site and look around: www.simplychicblogs.blogspot.com

Under Layout, add gadgets, such as slideshow, where you can scroll several photos at a time, or a single photo, to the side of your blog.

There are lots of widgets available and free. Google them.

Working on our blogs is a neverending job, but it's a fun one!
