There is an LSS in Orlando on Sand Lake Road, a mile or so east of S.Orange Blossom Trail. I'm sorry, but I don't know the name of the store. It's in the same parking lot as the Target, but it's in the strip mall building on the other side of the parking lot.
It's not a stamping store, but there is an Old Time Pottery across Sand Lake Rd from that LSS.
The area I'm taking about is close to the Orlando airport; it's between the airport and the Florida Mall.
I believe there is an AC Moore in Orlando. You can google the name and that should help a bit.
I'm doubt it's still there. AC Moore closed its store in Viera last summer and the check out clerk told me AC Moore was planning on closing all its Florida stores. :(
I shop there OFTEN *looks around for DH* dont tell him!! But Carol is GREAT she has so much knowledge unbelievable what you find in there *shakes head at the amount I spend*

Oh no!!! We've bought DS's Thomas sets for Christmas on clearance for really good prices. Maybe we should go to Orlando and look for some more. Thanks for posting this! All the good stores are too far away. The closest HL is in GA!

I don't think they are closing all the FL stores. They just built a new one in Jacksonville. It's only been open a few months I believe.

We now have a Michaels in Viera, it moved in where Ac Moores use to be.Thank goodness, because the closest craft store is in Melbourne. Our local scrapbook store is also closing its door next month. She had such a good selection, her store will be missed.there is also a giant Joanns in orlando
Hi, I stop (often!!) here: Scrapbooks and Stuff (8811 SW 132 St, Miami, FL)
Here is their link: http://www.scrapbooksnstuff.com/
Your trip will be worth it, though they did recently downsize their store, the owners Kobi and Lisa are absolutely the sweetest ladies and keep it full of updated, wonderful products. There are 2 other stores within 20 miles of me, I'd be happy to give you their information but I don't think the stores are as nice as this one or carry as many products (one is REALLY small) but I'd be happy to give you that info, too! Enjoy your trip! :-D
I have never been to scrappy stamper but I have been to Scrapbooks & Stuff (both in Miami).
They are not too far from each other. You could probably visit them both in one trip. Just do a Yahoo maps search and you can see, they are probably 5-10 minutes away from each other, if that.
Then you can shoot on over to The Falls and have lunch there. During the time you will be visiting, The Falls is nicely decorated for the holidays.
The address for the Falls is 8888 SW 136 Street, Miami, Fl 33176
Scrapbooks and Stuff is more geared towards scrapbooking at least that is what I have seen. I loved their paper, but they didnt have stamps that I saw and unless they changed that in the last couple of months it still is worth the trip.

They do carry stamps, inks and other stamping supplies, though it's not their main items. They carry Autumn Leaves and something else - I wasn't looking in that part of the store, right around where they keep the stickles. They have taken notice that many scrapbookers are branching out to other forums, such as cardmaking and have started updating what they carry to accomodate!
Thanks so much for all your info! I'll check out the websites and google searches you suggested Please feel free to let me know of anything else you think of!
I really appreciate your time

There is a store in Lakeland called Violette's that is really amazing. Huge store, tons and tons of stamps and accessories. Lakeland is 30-45 from Orlando depending on where you will be. It is really worth the time if you are into it. http://www.violettes.com/
There is also a place in Orlando called Mouse Memories that looks interesting, as many times as I've been to Orlando (and even lived there) I've never been but it's on my list. Obviously they have a ton of Disney related stuff.
I know nothing about Miami - sorry :(

The AC Moore store in Orlando is definitely closing. My friend and I were there last week.
Where are you staying in Orlando Babs?
There are also Michaels, Jo-anns AC Moore and another one which are doable if you hire a car, also look in Walmarts.
There are a couple of Scrapping stores in the Florida Mall in Orlando.

The first week, we're staying just S of Orlando, at the Alhambra in Poinciana. During this week, we're spending 2 nights in Miami. The second week, we're staying at Orange Lake Resort in Orlando. We'll have a car for the 2 weeks, which will be nice.
This trip is our Christmas present from the in-laws. They have time-share in both locations and have covered the cost of the entire trip for us (except for stamping supplies - I'll have to work on that one - )

Her store is very easy to find. Here's the name, address and phone. If you give her a call she'll give you directions. She's great!

I know what scrapbook store you are talking about. :(
Is the Joanns in Orlando bigger than the one on 192 in Melbourne? Where is that Joanns at? (the one you referred to)
The new Michaels is getting better. I was disappointed when it first opened because it didn't seem to have much more selection than the small store on 192, but now they are getting more stuff.

Dang it Kelly now I'm gonna have to go there.. such a hard task of making myself to go to a craft supply type store.. lol
I can vouch for Violette's being a fabulous, fabulous shop. I missed Stamp & Delvier by 20mins, having arrived there a little too late. But it did look much, much smaller than Violette's which has room after room after room. Just when you think you've seen it all you find another litle alcove of goodies.
My visit was one of the highlights of my holiday:-D
I used to work at Scrapbooks and Stuff (still do when I'm home from school). It is a WONDERFUL store! It is geared towards scrappers but they do have ink and stamps. The Scrappy Stamper is also AWESOME. They have wall to wall stamps!
