Hi SCS members!
My name is Sam and I am new here. I am also new to stamping & SU. I have been scrapbooking for awhile and want to incorporate more stamps into my layouts. Since discovering SU & SCS, I have become obsessed with cardmaking. Ok, it's only been about a week but it is growing (esp. after I recieved the SU catalog. LOVE!). My BF is already so sick of hearing my talk about stamping. I listen to him talk about cars he can listen to me talk about stamping. ;)
I am so curious about all the different techniques that can be done so I know I will be asking a lot of questions.
A little about myself:
I just moved to Burbank, CA about 3 months ago after graduating college in DC. As many know moving is already hard but it is great to have scrappin' (and now stampin') to keep me company. I am looking for work in the Entertainment Industry (primarily TV programming). My BF lives in VA so it is a VERY long distance relationship which we are somehow making work. That is about as basic as I can get. Oh, and I am originally from Hershey, Pa. YAY chocolate.

Welcome to SCS Sam ! You are going to love it here. We all have the same obsession as you and our friends, significant others, mailman, kid that cleans the walk etc may not want to hear about our stamping so we all gather here and feed off each other. Please take the time to check out the resources page for some really fun techniques. As well we have a Scrapping with Stamps section now as well as we have little challenges everyday that everyone is welcome to join in on. It really is a great site, not only for stamping and scrappin but for companionship and comfort. We are one big family here. Welcome to the family.

I'm right around the corner from you in Pasadena. My husband and I also just moved to the area from Michigan. Welcome to SCS, hopefully we can get some Southern California gals together sometime for a shoebox swap or something like that. Send me a PM sometime and let me know if you've found any great stores in the area. There's a great store called Memories in Burbank in the Victory Plaza (I think that's what it's called, but it's a huge shopping area).
