I think this week's sketch challenge inspiration card is just too sweet! The layout is very simple but we haven't done anything like this before so it should be fun. Plus, next week's will be a little more complicated :p This week's inspiration card was done by Mel313 a while ago. I love Mel's use of color and fun accessories. I hope we all enjoy getting back to "sketch basics" with Mel313's gorgeous card as inspiration.
To print this layout: - (nc means no color) If you see a small layout click on it or if you see an icon click on the words next to it.
-When the black surround screen appears click only on the layout and a white screen with the layout should appear.
-Right click and click on print from the pop up box or hold down your shift key and P key at the same time.
-Now you're ready to choose print and it should print to actual size of the card depending on your computer.
I'm so excited to try this, thanks! I was already in bed, but my dh was up late because he just got home from work so I asked him to check if the new challenge was posted. He thought I was very silly....hehe.
Here is my card for the week. I borrowed this set from a friend and thought I would play around with it, but I'm not crazy about this card. I'll see if I have time later to try again.
Here is my sketch challenge card and even on the same day the challenge was posted!!!! I have surprised myself.. This is a wonderful sketch and my card was way too easy.. I feel like there is something I didnt do or could have added...

I finished one yesterday but had some uploading issues again but it finally took last night so here is... One bright card
Andrea, this is a great sketch for using the wheels!
This one was fun! I think I will be trying more! I finally got to use some ribbon that I got on clearance last year. Now I just need to figure out what to do with the rest of it!
I did a second one for this challenge and this time the salted background dried faster than the upload process!!! LOL! I do hope this upgrade is going smooth for the guys!
I just love this background stamp - the catalog really does not do it justice. It is perfect with the craft spots - luckily I bought the Regals so I could combine this week's sketch and color challenges (SC42 & CC31).
Whew -- finally had time to do this! Here's my submission, combined with last week's Color Challenge, too (#31). The Floral background was Versamarked, then brushed with silver Pearl Ex. Then Print Pattern was inked with Versamark and stamped over -- this removed some of the PE and gives a very subtle background. Too bad the beautiful shimmer doesn't come across in the scan! As soon as the gallery finishes being wonky, I'll post it there, too.
Better late than never? My attempt at a challenge- I was having unfortunate timing with uploading the card, so Yeah! today was finally successful! My friend, smorestamping, her son has rec'd the word that he is going to Kansas for some training and then going to Iraq. So, feeling Patriotic. I made this card. Hope you enjoy it!
