I have a small 3 drawer sterlite system. Think I paid $3 for it at Walmart. As I need more you can stack them. I have one drawer for my eyelets, setter and mat along with mono adhesive in there, one drawer is for my embossing powders, glitters,and scissors, and the last drawer has my ribbons (dont' have many yet), magic mesh, buttons, ribbons and fibers in.
I use clear ArtBin boxes. I like them because the plastic is completely clear so I can see what's in them easily. And, they come in many different sizes; the boxes can be the same size, but the compartments are different for different sized embellishments.
I too use the mini sterlite 3 drawer thingies...My desk is loaded with them lol...
You can see in the drawers, but i also labeled the ones i know are going to stay the way they are currently stored...
I have one drawer for journaling pens, another for cutting tools -scissors- xacto blades.... another drawer is for my brads, eyelets (round) and my setters...Ive yet to get a small setter mat... My other shaped eyelets i store in a plastic box (like a tackle box...found in the fishing accessories). I also store my ribbon in a box like that, they are wraped around those little plastic things for floss then put in the box by colors...i have another box the same way for fibers and floss
I found a great box in the fishing department at Walmart. It is made by Keter. It is called a Multi Tackle Carrier Bait Box. It measures about 12" x 9" x9". It contains 4 plastic boxes which snap shut and slide out individually. Each of those 4 plastic boxes has little dividers which you place in the box in the desired spacing. The overall box has a handle which allows it to be portable and it can also be mounted on a wall. If I remember correctly, it cost around $7. Man alive, if it had been at a scrapping store it would have cost $35 or more. It is one of the handiest little things I have for embellishment storage.
I have plastic boxes (about 6"x8") that I found in the hardware department at Target. I think they're meant for storing nails and screws and little thingies. They have 6 or 8 compartments and when you close the lid, it fits tight against the top edge of the compartment "walls", so even if you turn the box upside down, the embellishments stay in their own compartment and don't get mixed up.

I have found this little gem to be absolutely PERFECT for all my small sized embelishments (eyelets, brads, tiny buttons, small beads, snaps, alphabet beads, etc.). In the craft section at walmart, in the beading isle, look at the beading cases. You will find this clear storage box (approx. size is 5 x 7) that has 24 small containers inside the clear box, (they remind me of little tic tac containers). Anyway, they have little flip lids on them and are (as I said before) PERFECT for eyelets etc. Clear, so you can see what's in them, the little flip top to open easily, and a HUGE space saver. They are $4.44 each and you will be amazed how much stuff you can fit in them, plus they are super easy to take with you for stamping or scrapbooking away from home. I currently have 5 of them, and store them in one drawer, taking up little space. I just labeled the end side of each main container (Eyelets) and all the small containers inside are filled with just eyelets. etc. I just LOVE them . My stamping friends are hooked on them as well. It was a great find. You won't be disappointed! Happy shopping and happy organizing!

I purchased several wall mounted units in the hardware section--the ones that have the clear little drawers for storing nuts, bolts, nails, etc.
I put labels on the drawers so I know what's in them. It is AWESOME, and because they are mounted to peg board, I can re-configure how they're mounted by shifting the pegs around. It is the easiest system I've used so far.

although I don't have mine mounted to my pegboard since my husband attached the pegboard too high on the wall
i use the little craft boxes when I am going outside the home though.
I have a bunch of watchmakers tins from www.leevalley.com that I use. They come in different sizes and I have most of the tin ones......perfect for small embellishments like eyelets, brads, charms...

the new gerber baby food plastic containers with snap lids are great for small stuff.
be sure to force baby to eat the yucky stuff inside first though.

I just bought one of those over the door clear plastic shoe holder things, I cut it in half and tacked it to my wall, It works great, especially cut in half because its not so tall to reach and everything is eye level with me. It also takes up no shelf room and you dont have to try to find a place for it. Oh and it's nice to be able to see everything without having to go through drawers
I'm looking for some great storage ideas for embellishments
, one drawer for small stamps like my angel policy ones...drawer for tags, drawer for Making memorie items...tools - bone folder, brushes, empressor, stylus, crayon, erasers, paper peicer, needles, quilling tool.... another drawer for sticky stuff - 2 waY glue pens , glue sticks (ick LOL), heat and stick, mono, metal glue..... Ive got many more drawers and could go on more with whats in them, but they are just organized for what i think "goes" together
