I use spray adhesive if I'm mass producing paired with a line of Mono Multi green around the edges for permanence. If I'm only doing one, I use my Mono Multi green (with the spready sided tip).
We made these as end of the year craft project for DSs class. They were supposed to be their summer journals so they could keep practicing their writing. We simply used glue sticks because thats what they had in the classroom. DS's seems to be holding up ok, of course it didn't get too much use this summer, lol!

I use Monoadhesive. Nothing will ever be able to remove it!
Mono (white paper glue) works great, as long as you use the green printed bottle. This won't buckle the paper like the bottle with the blue printing does.
Used sparingly, 3M makes a clear paper adhesive. I use the dauber tip, not the pen tip, so I can really control the amount. And I dot it on the paper, I don't drag it along the edge.
I've turned to using rubber cement after my glue sticks didn't work. I paint a very thin layer on the book, and a thin layer on the cardstock and then press down. Works very well. I only use the stick strip for the ribbons.

Any suggestions out there of a dbl sided tape that is clear and strong enough to hold an acetate pillow box together??? (I know, bad planning right)
