I do a faux "bleach" tech where you use white or barely banana chalk on dark colors.
Also the faux pewter and faux buckles are my favorite right now.

How about faux mulberry paper? I haven't tried it, but you take a used dryer sheet, iron it, then you can use it for white mulberry paper, or brayer it any color you want!
Cut out desired size of cs...cover it with versamark...cover with silver ep...heat...cover silver ep with versamark again...Pour UTEE ...heat qucikly stamp image into UTEE using black stazon...repeat UTEE step until piece is glassy...When cool, use black sharpie to color wdges of cs...using fingers, rub over image with silver metallic rub-ons...spray the piece with fixative
Wow! you all are great! I didn't think of polished stone, but yeah that qualifies!
And marbling. I think there are lots of ways to do marbling... shaving cream, pastels, heck, there are even "marble" image stamps where you stamp in one color, flip the block, stamp another color, flip the block, stamp last color and you have a marble background... I think the stamp is made by All Night Media or something. I guess that would qualify as faux marble too.
Are there any other "faux marble" techniques?
I remember another one...
Faux Floor Tile (stamping with a shape stamp by brushing several colors of ink directly onto the stamp instead of applying ink with stamp pad and then stamping...
I've never actually heard of a technique like "Faux mirror" although I know of stampers putting the silver cd's onto cards... Are there any cool ways to make a faux mirror? I'm trying to think of how to make faux mirror... without breaking a real mirror and putting it on the card... anybody know of a way?
Just found this one last month and LOVE it! Stamp a basic outline or easy to outline image (ie-flower from In full bloom, tree from Holiday basics. Color image if appropriate. Cover with sticky sheet. Use cord to outline your image. Cover with microbeads! Very cool! I think I saw this on Pennywisearts.
I'll try and attach a picture, hard to see but really neat in person, the white is all microbeads.
Use the small circles from the tag sheets. (Don't punch them out, cut around several of them.) Ink them with VersaMark, pour on clear EP and heat. Ink with VM again and add more clear EP. I like at least three layers of EP. When punching the circles out, punch upward to keep the EP from peeling off.
I kinda came up with that idea myself. I was proud. Here's a photo but you can't tell the dimension the faux eyelet has.

another tech I came up with was the 'faux" colored paper, where I sponged white, cream or barely banana and then sanded it to make it look like CTMH's CS.
