Well, I've been searching through the gallery, thinking up some ideas and NOTHING is hitting me this year. Anyone else with the same problem? I need the "it" christmas card idea. Anyone that has a favorite, post if you would. I need some suggestions without spending hours and hours looking through the gallery.

I have the opposite problem...I have TOO MANY favorites this year. Hahahaha! I'm not going to have time to make all the designs I love that I've found on here (and I don't have the money for all the new stamp sets I want either, haha).
Give it a couple more weeks! I know I'm in two Christmas swaps that aren't closed yet, so we can't post our creations. I think you'll be seeing LOTS of Christmas cards very soon!
This isn't SCS, but I love the look of their stamps and I think they have some unique layout ideas too. Here's the Christmas card gallery, but I think once you look at these you'll want to see the rest. I'm saving my change for some of these stamps! I'm in a SU hostess club now, but as soon as that's over, I'm branching out, baby, and this is the first site I'm going to! The versatility of these fine line stamps just blows me away.
Good luck finding something. I had an idea a while back and I'm almost done with them - it's a trifold with a family photo and letter that can be hung as an ornament. I used good old Frosty, but I think they turned out good. I'll be posting as soon as I get the photos taken... uh, in my family that means Dec. 21st...
LOVE the new Cuttlebug folders-but having trouble coming up with ideas using them??!!
I don't have enough time to do all the things I want to with these things! I went to the gallery and searched for Cuttlebug Embossing Folder and came up with 250 pages! Really awesome ideas - I got addicted to these just by looking at the galleries of folks who made comments on my cards, and couldn't wait to get some of my own! Check out the gallery and I guarantee your crafter's block will magically disappear!

These are my favorite Christmas cards so far.
They are on blogs and are probably here on SCS, too but they are easier for me to find in my Google Reader where I starred them:

I'm in the same boat, sorta. I want to use pixie pink, green galore and glorious green with very vanilla cs. I also want argyle and snowmen. Yeah, I'm not picky!
I'll probably end up doing something else, and am loving the suggestions shown here. Will keep lookin' here, though.
Love those colors! I'll have to bookmark it and show it to dh. He's not too keen on the mental visual he's getting with those colors.
He told me one day that the colors were "ok", but when you add in the argyle, that our christmas cards are going to look like an Old Navy Sweater. I didn't have the heart to tell him that's where I got my insipiration, LOL
I'm going for simple this year. Last year's card was an insane amount of work. This time, I'm looking for something easy that has a lot of visual punch.
