I'm in this week! I didn't have supplies a couple weeks ago and was out of town last week but I was watching on the lap top during the evening in hotel rooms and maybe I'll get around to sewing one day!
This is so funny that I had my graffitis out for shakers today and ended up putting it back. I'm taking it out again!
Thanks for the challenge!
I actually found some acetate today and while cleaning up (unpacking) my stamp room, I decided to try a shaker card. Whodda thunk that it would be this week's challenge! WAHOOO! This card is for Robin! Love the cindyribbon!
I just made this card this weekend. My brother, DH & I are throwing my parents a 25th Anniversary Party in November. I decided to do a shaker card for the invites. Here is a sample - although the bottom will say You're Invited from the Sincere Salutation set instead of Congratulations.
I am so excited! Here is my first ever shaker card. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
It took a while and I almost gave up. But now I am glad, that I finished it. Thank you so much for having this challenge!
Oh, I love shakers!!! Here is one I uploaded a couple of weeks ago for a swap. I changed the orientation of the words on the card, so it would 'fit' better on the card (flipped them to the side by stamping them on a small piece of paper and placing that under the shaker).
Oh, I love shaker cards! I hope to play but it won't be until the end of the week for me - I am happy to be preparing for workshops this week. Thanks, Beth, for keeping these wonderful challenges coming!

This card was a lot faster to make than to upload. I had it done yesterday and no way would the gallery let me upload so I finally got it last night and this morning I got a deleted from database message. Started over and this morning... Here it is
During the month of October the gallery is teaching us all to have patience! And thankful we aren't Daven and Tom who have to do the upgrade!
GRRRRRRRRRR!!!! Is it just me or are uploads to the gallery inhabited with little gnomes? Here is my shaker card but I had a horrid time uploading. The picture didn't show up for about 10 - 15 minutes after I hit the button. Pictures I don't want in the upload gallery are there and I don't know how to get rid of them. Then after I entered all the info for the baby card, the process button wasn't highlighted so I could click on it. When I hit 'refresh', it took the upload of the shaker card but not all the information I had typed in. @!#$%^&*!!
Anyway, Whenever it happens to get approved, here is the link.
Here is the link to a baby card I made for my sale next week. I used the inspiration of using a tag from a different stamping group and applied it to babies. I just love those alphabet beads!
Here's my first shaker card. I'm really happy with it. It's a little hard to see in the picture, but I have sand and dazzling diamonds mixed together. I really like the way it looks!
