How about a fun fold for today's technique? Todays TLC was suggested by mackbrad, who found these really interesting cards in the gallery and when I put together one, I knew that you would have fun with this as well. It's called either a Stair Step fold, or an Accordion fold, depending on the orientation of your project. This would be a Stair Step fold since it's landscape, but this fold can work either way - portrait or landscape.
Cut your cardstock to the size of 10.5 X 5.0 - if you want to stamp on this, now would be the time to do it.
Score your cardstock at 1.25" - 2.5" - 4.25", 6" and at 8.25" Now fold with hills and valleys (accordion style) making sure that the smallest (1.25" fold) is folded down, as this will be the front of your card) Once you look at the samples, you will see what I'm referring to.
Now here's the fun part...decorate with ANYTHING...punches, cut-outs, stickers...whatever your theme is, run with it.
These cards may be done in landscape or portrait orientation so 'step it up' and let your imagination run wild.
Don't forget to add TLC190 (no spaces) to your keywords. I can't wait to see all of your fabulous creations!
NEXT WEEK IS A VERY SPECIAL WEEK FOR ALL OF THE SCS CHALLENGES SO YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS A SINGLE DAY. For TLC next week you may want to get out your Twinkling H20's and Watercolor Pencils.
Wow Lynn these look great! Never tried one, thanks will have to try tonight!

I actually made one of these a couple of weeks ago! They are really cool! Here's a link to the one I did, but I know that is cheating, so I'm off to make another one!
I don't think I'll have time to try this before work but should be able to tonight (as I watch Dancing With the Stars, I have a small TV on my craft desk!).
I'm curious as to the hint "next week is a very special week for all of the SCS challenges". I do have Twinkling H20's and Water Color Pencils so I know I'm good for Monday. Hopefully things will work for all week! Maybe the other posters will give hints for next weeks challenges if they require "special" supplies!
Great challenge Lynn and thank you! I'd been meaning to get around to learning how to do this so this is perfect timing.
Ladies, on another note, my friend Betty that I've been writing about for the past 6 or so weeks will be going home to the Lord by day's end. Her daughter Debbie is also a good friend of mine, so I'll be posting later today over on the RAK board Debbie's information and I'd be so very grateful if y'all would send her your talent and cheer. I know she'd be so appreciative and blessed.
Twinkling H20's are little jars of "paint" that shimmer. Were do I find information on your friend so I can send a card? Plz PM me the information. (I will check your blog).
This is another first for me, so thanks so much Lynn for another new challenge that really rocks!! Here my STEPPIN' UP WITH A TAG PUNCH FLOWER

I just love doing new folds and new techniques. Thanks for the wonderful challenge today. It is really overcast here so my picture isn't great but the card is really cute IRL. tfl
Hi! Wow! Great Technique! I had to do laundry and clean before I could stamp this morning...Quite frankly, I started to get CRANKY! So, I sat down to the challenge, and whew, I feel much better! ...or....It could have been the 3 cups of coffee I drank! LOL!
