Was in Michael's today trying to decide what to spend my 50% off on and noticed they had dye-based (Rubber Stampede) inkpads for $1.99 regular price--never saw pads that cheap and wondered if they were any good. Not a great selection of colors just basic black, blue, green and two reds.
I spent my coupon on the mirror stamp and have another to use tomorrow and pick up the set of pastel chalks which I hadn't seen before.
All in all, it was a great Sunday--BBQ ribs, Corona beer and 50% off coupons--can't ask for more !

I can't really answer your question about the dye-based pads, but in the past (before I knew of SU) I did have some of their pigment pads and at the time I thought they were pretty good. But you're right, the color selection isn't too great. I've become somewhat of a Stampin Up snob lately, so I haven't bought any ink pads anywhere else for a long time.

I like my SU pads also because they match the cardstock and I'm artistically impaired. However, there are a lot of other good products out there. I'd buy one and try it before investing too much. I have SO much stuff I wish I hadn't bought!! LOL

50%?? In my paper, the coupon was for 60%!!! off today or tomorrow only. I wouldn't normally drive the half hour to Mike's but I was out that way today anyway. I spent about 10 minutes looking and then ended up just getting an extra brayer!
Guess we aren't "worthy" in Missouri--my paper has 50% off Sun-Mon and 40% rest of the week. I saw Joann's ad and they have some sale items at 60% off but their coupon was for 40%. Didn't realize they had different offers in different areas. Don't think I have ever seen a 60% Michaels.

The Michael's in south NJ was a ZOO today with the 60% coupon. I almost got mowed down in the parking lot! I bought a mega-sized tag punch that I'd been eyeing for a while. It was $13.99, they took off $8.49! WooHoo!
Here is what I got. I used to 50% off for the Christmas stamps. They are pretty darn cute!
That is a really cute set! Dang it, I won't be able to go tomorrow either, I've got a sick kid at home with me. I really need a new Versamark and 50% would be so nice.

Shanon - I used my 40% last week to get the same set! You're right - it's cute! Can't wait to use it, but it will have to wait until next year, because I have this year's Christmas cards made.
In St. Louis, the coupon is 50% today and tomorrow & 40% the rest of the week. I've worn a path at Michael's.......sigh.
Skip the cheap inks -jmo- not worth it. Mikes coupon was 60% in MA which I ended up using at acmoores for a delux studio craft table which I had seen online for more than $150....ended up only paying $40! Now I just need to hide the box as it is a christmas present for my dd.
50% in Atlantic Canada too. (40% the rest of the week).
Couldn't use it on stamp sets because they are 30% off this week. I "finally" got a stamp-a-ma-jig and a giant jar of UTEE with my coupons (thanks, Mom - needed the extra body to use two coupons - she doesn't stamp so it was extra nice of her to go for the drive)
We have an ACMoore with a grand opening this past week, so I am assuming that is why we got the 60% off coupons instead of 50%. They are probably just trying to hold onto customers???
I am heading out later today to try use mine for something fabulous. I was going to get a xyron refill, but maybe I should think bigger!!
