Hello everyone! Julia asked me to fill in for her and I am so honored to host the Ways To Use It Challenge this week.
I am hoping that this hasn't been done before, or at least that it's been a while...your challenge is to create a card/project using a MONOGRAM. This is a super simple way to personalize a card whether it's your stationary, or using the first letter of a friend's name. Typically, there are no other words on your project, just a single letter and that letter is entirely up to you. You can also use the letters in your first, middle and last name (ex. mine would be KHA for Kimberly Ann Hughes...the last name initial goes in the center)
here are some examples of what you can use to create a monogram:
letter stickers (you can stamp on them to add a personal touch)
alphabet stamps
shape a letter with brads, flowers or buttons
stitch a letter
cut paper in the shape of a letter
rub-on alphabets
chipboard
shape ribbon into a letter
poke holes to form a letter
use a template
use a die cut machine
some more ideas:
if your letter is small, make a mini card or an ATC
create a quick set of 4 identical cards to give as a gift (use their initial)
make place cards for a table setting
these can be easy masculine cards
makes nice wedding or graduation cards
use the letter "P" and add a pumpkin accent (for one example)
make a teacher card and use an "A" (add an apple accent maybe)
Feel free to add to these lists
Please remember to put WT187 in your keywords section and post a link back here! We all want to be able to find your work. Please also post and link NEW creations...we want to get you creating!

Today I was wishing that I had that cool monogram set that my friend has and that I have seen here in the galleries. But I don't.......so you make do with what you have.
Here is a 2nd entry for today's Monogram challenge. I need a birthday card for a party this Friday so I decided to make one that would showcase both yesterday and today's challenge.
Good morning everybody. Thank you Kim for this great challenge! I made these CD covers a few months ago but wanted to use them for this challenge in the meantime until I get off work today and do another monogram for this challenge. Thank you for looking and have a great day.
I've been meaning to make some cards for a friend who just got a new job and commented she needed some cards as thank you's. This just put a boot in my rear to get it done! Thanks so much! Here's four of the cards I made. The rest are without monograms but in the same color family line! Monograms for a Friend by TexasStampin at Splitcoaststampers

The bg paper is from The Paper Company called White Embossed Flowers; the cs with the monogram is from Bazzill and is Wedding Satin. The flowers are from Stampin' Bella.
I love the look of white on white especially when there is an embossed bg.
This was a perfect challenge since I just recently completed a set of 12 monogrammed cards for my mother for Christmas. I'm getting company this w/e so really have to clean and NOT stamp. MONOGRAM CARD ENSEMBLE
