I've pretty much tend to stay away from theme challenges, but since today is the first of the month, and I don't think I've ever posted on the first, I thought I'd give this a try.
My challenge to you this week should you choose to accept it....use one of the holidays (list posted below, since it was to loooong to list here) as a prompt to a LO. You don't need to include the date of the holiday or even the holiday title.
my sample:
Wacky Day - I chose October 17 "Wear Something Gaudy Day" but used pictures from DGD's Wacky Day at school.
I can't wait to see your ideas!
you can find all submissions for this challenge here: SBVC45
The OPD (One Page Doc, aka: Master Challenge Thread) that includes all challenges on one page for your printing convenience can be found here: OPD

thanks Patti - this idea was posted on a scrabbook message board and thought it was too fun. can't wait to see what you come up with.
What a super idea, Peggy! Love it! I haven't been able to participate in any challenges the past couple of weeks, but hoping to get caught up this weekend!

Whether you came up with the idea yourself or not, you still had to use your creativie mind to realize it would be a fun challenge!! You always have cool challenges!
Now that I don't have to think upside-down anymore , I can start working on an idea for this challenge--I have photos for two *holidays* in mind so far!

Variety challenge is posted on Wednesday
Sketch challenge stays on Friday
Wow, I never knew all the silly meanings attached to each calendar day, this is fun. The one that caught my eye was the Moment of Frustration Day. It reminded me of the time my husband decided to make a pyramid out of the glass coke bottles. As you can imagine, that didn't end all that well, but at least I had picture to capture the moment: The After AKA The Coke Bottle Incident by olgy15 at Splitcoaststampers

I finally got my pages done for this challenge--and for once, I'm not a full week behind!
I chose "Curious Events Day* for this two-pager--my granddaughter and I made Magical Sea Animals and she learned about pinwheels--both curious and wondrous things for a 5-year-old!
