It's Friday and time for another LIMITED SUPPLY CHALLENGE!! Im your guest hostess for this week! The very first challenge I took part in was a LSC that challenged us to make a non holiday card out of a holiday set. It took me a while to come up with something and to "think outside the box" of my comfort zone. My challenge today is for you to take any non holiday set and make a holiday card out of it. You will not be allowed to use sets that lend themselves to many different occasions such as Loads of Love (ouch...one of my favorite sets) Frosty or Bundle Up. You will be allowed to pick a holiday sentiment to use out of sets like All Year Cheer. You are allowed to use any and all the accessories and you may use as many colors of ink and card stock as you like. Just make yourself look at all your non holiday sets in a different light and stretch yourself. My friend Wendy (wereids) and I took this challenge this week to make examples for you. I hope they give you a little inspiration.
I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with. I'm sure you talented people can "WOW" us with your wonderful creations.
When you upload your card to the gallery please put LSC32 in the keyword section and post a link to this thread so we can all go look. Everyone is welcome to play -even if you've never done a challenge before...please join us!!!
I did this one last night in anticipation of getting it to Kittie as an example card. I thought I had uploaded it successfully, but it was not there this morning. So I am submitting it now as a challenge-completed card. Is this cheating??? I hope not. I really like these sort of challenges because I have to think outside the proverbial box. My brain needs the exercise. Thanks Kittie, this is a great challenge. I hope to do more cards today if I can kick-start my brain.

Reason: first picture didn't show up, second attempt
I noticed this card in the gallery this morning, and immediately thought of it when I read this challenge! This is another excellent example. *NOTE* I did not make this card! Credit goes to Eileen Kocum!*
I can't wait to get home this evening and try this!

This is just a perfect example for this challenge. Eileen you were just ahead of me a day. Thanks for sharing this with us happystampertammy! I just love it.

I joined this challenge w/ TLC32.
Here is my entry: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Here are a few more of my attempts at holiday cards. I am enjoying this challenge. They may not look like the Holiday cards you would expect, but I am sure having fun trying to come up with different ideas. Thansk Kittie.

Tried another one. In Florida we can only imagine a Christmas with snow and big pine trees. So here is my imagined Christmas tree forest with falling snow. Hope you like it.

I had a fun time working this challenge out, I kept it pretty simple. As I was posting to Pines I saw a couple of other cards that would fit this challenge as well, either winter/Christmasy cards. This set is so versatile that I use it all the time. I scrounged and used some discontinued colors just so I would have an excuse to order more later in the month.
So I said to myself "I don't think I'll be doing this challenge. Me? Think out of the box? HA!" But it was 6 in the am and I couldn't fall back asleep....so here it is; my christmas card without using a christmas set. Hope it's not too much of a stretch ;)
I made one card but just didn't like it, then started thinking about how we used to spray magnolia leaves silver and gold at Christmas time when I was a kid. Anyway, that was my inspiration.
I'll get this linked before morning when the new challenge comes out. With the gallery issues it took forever to upload, I really didn't think I'd make it for this week. But I'm being patient! Here my card
I am SO impressed with everyone's creations! I didn't think there would be so many because it seems like such a hard challenge, but you all surprised me!
