I need something to inspire me to get down and stamp today. It's horribly grey with drizzle. I have all my work done, but getting down to my corner seems to be another thing some days.

Guess what? It's grey and drizzly here too...how can that be huh? I HAVE to get some cleaning and laundry done today, then I need to run errands, and the kids get off school early. I have a set of swap cards I an ITCHING to get too, but guess I better get the boring stuff done first!
I know what you mean, it's chilly and raining here and I only work for an hour and a half everyday so when I come home the only thing I need to do today is make a pan of Special K bars and then as I usually do I can stamp the day away. I can get about 20 cards done if I really get into it, but most of the time I will do 5 or 6 then go watch a little tv or read a stamping magazine again or play with our puppy, she's always in for the attention. I could clean my stamp room, but that's no fun and not really in the mood for it either. Stamping sounds better for today and I might have to just stamp my own sunshine and warm day too.

Grey? Drizzle? Pish! It is STORMING in CA today! And I have to go to Costco... drat! But, I will be back at it late this afternoon and I will be stamping like mad! I have a swap I need to complete. And I must make a birthday card for my father and a thank you card for my dear friend who took me to see Dame Edna a couple of weeks ago... so much stamping to do... so little time. But I will definitely try to "lighten" the atmosphere and not let the weather influence my design choices! lol

It is a very icky day...but unfortunately I can't stamp cards...I am going to be stamping up some other items as gifts, i.e. bowls, composition books, and a FUN project that I found for my sisters for Christmas..I can't tell you what it is because they are on SCS and might see it......
but it will be WONDERFUL!!!
Sounds like fun Amy...I don't know if I'm ever going to get pulled away from my computer screen to stamp....how about we change the challenge to "How many posts can you get in on one day!!!!" :lol: :oops: :lol:
It's grey here in MD, too. I thought your challenge was going to be to stamp using Grey in your card, which I never do. But that wouldn't bring us out of our grey day blues, now would it????
Sounds like I should be stamping something bright and cheery!
It's grey here too, but I decided to paint my stamping/homeschool room a bright and cheery gable green! Will post pictures when I am done. :lol:

It must be grey all over! It's here in Tennessee, too! The sun did peek out between the clouds for a few minutes earlier, but we have the everlasting Thunderstorm watch this week, from what I understand. Is it sunny ANYWHERE??

Y'all really missed it here in TN last night. Literally we had lightning and thundering ALL night long. Pretty scary to watch the storm tracking on TV and see the storm settling here right on top of my house! Gusty winds, flooding. Yuck, Yuck!!
Two of my girls were out camping (in cabins, thank goodness!) an hour away with their girl scout troop. I worried lots for them, but got news this morning that they are fine.
It's pretty calm this morning, but they are predicting more thunderstorms during the day. It's still a grey, grey day.
To top it all off, with the wind and the rain blowing all the stuff around in the air, I woke up with a terrible headache and Pinkeye! Yuck!
Sounds like a good day for hunkering down with a bunch of stamps, ink and paper!
It's still really nasty here. I haven't gotten any done yet, either!!! I'm headed up there right now, though. A friend is coming over to use my Sizzix, too.
Hey Vanessa - do you guys home school? We do, but the kids are done for the day and can't run outside. Ugh.
You know what's worse than a grey day? A grey day with a head cold! I can't seem to get up off the couch. Thank goodness for Nick Jr., Noggin . . . and my laptop and SCS!!! Jaden and I have kept busy all morning (unfortunately he'd love to sit in front of the t.v. all day!), but I think it's time to get up . . . he's probably hungry for some lunch by now. Maybe after lunch some stamping would make me feel better?
It is grey here, too! But it isn't raining, it is snowing! We got about two inches during the night and is still going. The boys loved running around in it while waiting for the bus.
Anyway, I can't get to my stamping room today. Too much house work to do plus I have to study for a Psychology test for tomorrow night's class. :( Ugh! But the stamping is my incentive to get the boring stuff done first. Maybe tomorrow or the next day.
It's been grey and yukky here for the past few days. I am at work and don't have any windows around my desk, but from what I can see, it looks like the sun is peeking out through the clouds. If I were at home, I'd definitely be stamping.

OK, is there anywhere that ISN'T grey? I'm in AZ and it's a nice 70 degrees, but cloud cover has made it darker here than usual.

It's sunny here.......for a change! Normally it's always grey and drizzly at this time of year! There's a nickname for the Queen Charlottes, and it's "The Misty Isles". Oh and the main expression is....

Yippeee, I got 10 cards done so far...mostly Thanksgiving, got on a roll and didn't stop! Now for Halloween....slightly out of order here but when inspiration hits you run with it! Plus my Halloween stamps aren't SU so you might not like them as well anyway! Will be posting in my gallery soon!
WOO HOO Congrats Rebekah...I haven't gotten SQUAT done today...I was soooo inspired this morning and then did nothing. I played with the baby, did 2 loads of laundry and got a batch of cookies in the oven but the rest of my day has been answering emails, and SCSing...
Sunny San Diego - NOT! We haven't had rain in over 180 something days (we broke our own record), now it has been raining for awhile now and flooding too!! And watch out, 'cause us Californians can't drive in the rain!
It is POURING in So Cal right now! Yowza!!! Ive had enough, and its only rained for what, 30 min??? lol Its time for a mini S'Mores bar! Trick or Treat!!

It's gray here too! It's supposed to be the sunny south,but it's just the gray, soupy south today. Muggy, cloudy and around 80. I'm not going to get any stamping done today, maybe tonight if I can get myself off this computer!!! Rebekah, you're just showing off now!!!LOL I'm just jealous. Hope your having fun. It is grey here today but a little warmer. We had some wild thunder last night. I had to go to Louisville today for pre-op testing. Yuck what a
way to spend a day.

Rainy weather here also in Farm Country! Hubby not happy about not getting his crop out of the field. Hope for sunny weather tomorrow. I worked today at my part time job, went to nieces vollyball game, then to church meeting. Came home 8ish, made supper then made 3 halloween cards. Now searching site for ideas with my new Christmas stamps.
