WT29! Play along with the ways to use it challenge!
This week's challenge is to use something that I don't have a lot of so I'm not exactly going to have to dust it off. October is my month for the hostess club I am in and I am thinking of getting some craft pads or some craft pad spots. I'd like to know that I'm really going to use them before I start ordering some more so I'd love for you all to convince me. Use craft pads any way you like in your work. You can use them for sponging, embossing, backgrounds, stamping on fabric...etc. I'd love some new ideas as wells so surprise me! Also, if you have any hints or tips for using craft pads or spots, feel free to post them to this thread.
As always, please remember to put WT29 in your keywords section and post the link to your creation back here. It does not have to be a card. Remember this is not a contest....just a place to inspire you and others as well. There is no time limit so feel free to post today, this week, next week...whenever you want to add something new!
Great Idea! I am also on the fence with craft pads. I only have white & vanilla so I can't wait to see what else they can do. I will try to play along later today.
Here is my ways to use it item. I made this for a RAK going out to a friend in NJ. I use my craft pads ALL the time - I love them. Especially with the background stamps! The key is - do alot of stamping at once - then you only have to clean the pad once.
I think the craft pads are a great investment. I especially love the white and vanilla craft pads on the darker color cardstocks! They just pop. Add in some clear EP - you have so many options!!!
I say go for it - get the craft pads!
edited because my first uploaded was wiped out 2 times into cyberspace - Jenn - I swear I didn't break the gallery!

Oh...Julia! I so want to play in this challenge, but I'm packing for a trip. Yikes. Maybe I'll get to it late tonight after the kids are in bed? Thanks for posting this challenge. Great idea!

I don't really stamp much. I'm just here for the company.
Great idea. Wish I could play, but I'm swamped with a class I'm having and prepping swaps and stuff for regionals next week. I'll be watching this though. i just got the RR Craft Spots yesterday and the BB spots a month ago. I mostly just use my white craft pad, because I hate cleaning up after craft ink. Let's see you gals change my mind on that.
BTW - if you can't upload to the gallery you can always attach a photo to your post.
I luv craft pads!! I also need more!!! They give great coverage when using background stamps and on dark cs. Here's mine: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Can I just say that I used to hate Craft pads. I am in LOVE with them now. Ever since the new colors were introduced, I use them on almost everything.
I actually bought 2 boxes of spots when the new catty arrived (BB and SS) I just bought the other two color families. I haven't used a Classic pad in so long!
The saturation of color is amazing, especally with tone on tone color.
Also, on Take Two and Take Three I used chocolate chip craft on Kraft paper for the pups. The gleam in their eye comes from white craft ink (applied with a toothpick) then I used a regular black ink pen to darken their eyes and noses after the craft dried.
