OHMYGOSH!!!
I received a stamp I bought from ebay(retired of course) and I tried to just put it on the stairs so Iwould bring it up as soon as I went, and I couldn't do it! I HAD to go up to my desk and cut, mount, and use it. Right away. I have never done that before!!!
I think I need a stampin-shrink God help me I've lost all control
That's okay. That was just the stamp calling out to you: "Release me, I have been trapped in this plastic bin for an eternity, and I must fulfill my purpose." You had to help it. Consider it your good deed of the day.
I had a moment last week where, while driving along I-94 admiring all the wonderful fall colors on the trees - in my head, I was identifying them by SU stamp pad colors!! "What a lovely combination of summer sun, really rust and ruby red on that tree" Any 12 step program I should be condsidering??

That is hystarically funny! Now and forever, I will have to compare every color in everyday life, to the stamp pads. We most certainly need a 12, or 24, 48 etc. step program!!
I've got the embellishment addiction bad.....I bought a bra the other day with a bow on the front, I cut it off & instead of tossing it, I thought "Hmmm, I bet I could use that on a card!!"
Sign me up for the 12, 24, or 48 step program!!

You will laugh. I saved the container from my birth control pills and said to myself "I can use these to stamp on and use as pencil holders!" Pretty scary. Sign me up for that 12, 24, 48 step program as well!

I do the same thing identifying cardstock colors when i imagine a card. They don't call me a cardstock collector for nothing. Really, though, kudos to SU for the awesomest quality cardstock money can buy. Just the feel, look and array of colors inspired you to pick it up and create a masterpiece with it.
I took a piece of Mellow Moss to Lowe's to help match up a color for our kitchen. I told my DH the color we picked was too much like Old Olive. This is what he did

Last time there was an SU! regional seminar in Wisconsin, my two sisters & I attended. We were deciding where to go for supper, and one of us suggested going Italian and eating at Old Olive. We all agreed and then realized what she said. Of course she meant to say Olive Garden. It's been Old Olive to us ever since!

Ha ha! One of my downline and I go to church together and we compliment each other on our outfits as SU! colors. I had on a Pink Passion dress the other day! One of her customers had on a Rich Reglas skirt (lots of colors in it)!!!
I should switch from the patch to pills so I can save the container!!! My husband is ALWAYS telling me I need serious help  I don't want help, I like me the way I am!
I'm on estrogen replacement since I just had a hysterectomy in Aug & I'm only 37. Anywho, I'm using Vivelle dot patches & have looked at the boxes more than once to try to figure out how to a) cover & stamp on them or b) make a template from them! I can't go shopping anywhere now without looking at almost everything with the "how can I stamp on that?" mentality.
 my 12 year old DD has it as bad as we do!!!!! she complimented me on my "pink passion sweater" the other day & i responded back with "& you have on a lovely real red t-shirt, my dear!"

Ugh!! I always browse the clearence areas in Target. We were there on Friday night and I found two nice hardcovered paper pads for 1.50 each. My DH asked me why I need them, I told him I can do something with them! hahaha!!!
I also can't stand to leave my stamps unmounted - have to get them all pretty!!!
Last summer I was going crazy trying to find the perfect green to paint the bedroom. I could have saved time getting a piece of Mellow Moss cardstock out! After deliberating over 5 colors in two weeks. After finally painting the room I put a piece of MM cardstock up to the wall....same exact color! I should have brought that into Lowe's and had them match it!
This is a riot!!! I like to go to any store and look at the mark down stuff. How about this one?! You know those tiny little canasters that eyelets come in, you can make your own lip gloss for your little girls then use those containers to hold the lipgloss in (vassalene mixed with any flavor koolade) I know it's a little of course, but cute.
The bra ribbon is the best! Thanks for the laughs!

I just had one done in June. I'm 37 also.
The patch didn't work for me, so my doc gives me a shot of estrogen every month. I hope you're feeling ok! :::hugs:::

i work evenings, the UPS hub is the opposite direction on the outerbelt! I find my self counting UPS trucks on my way to work...most so far...a 25 mon trip 15!!! How bad is that!
I am so happy to hear there are so many others out there with the same "issues" shall we say! My 12 year old daughter has been describing colors as SU colors for years now. My husband has finally gotten used to me scrounging through the garage and basement for his tools and supplies to the pont that he now comes into my stamping room for tools and supplies  !
I have been trying to convince my DH for 8 years to have a vasectomy (we have 3 children) so I could quit taking those darn pills!! Boy will he be happy when he finds out I may have a use for those containers!!!!!!
He might even start buying me stamps!!!
Was there ever a better way to describe colors? Everyone in my family does that with SU colors except my husband! The girls are 10 and 13, and my son is 12. I've been a demo since March, but we started doing that almost immediately! The are just such great colors!
