Ok, a friend at church just asked me to make invitations for a party they're having to celebrate their daughter being potty trained......A Potty Party! The daughter is 3 and they've been trying really hard so that she can come to the children's church program at church on Wednesday nights instead of the nursery.
Anyway - I have no toilet stamps, LOL. So other than that - any ideas? Like short poems or sayings? Other ideas for images or paper punched items? ANYthing!
You could use white card stock and cut it in the shape of a toilet seat, add a ring on the inside (the part we sit on!) and have the wording inside the ring. I don't have any help on wording but thought the shape would be fun!!!
Ok, ladies I'm back already with a prototype! I've combined a few of your ideas and I'll be showing this sample to the mom tonight when I see her.
I would add eyelets or brads where the holes are. And the party information would go on the back layer, under the ring. Of course I would use nicer cardstock and colors on the actual invites, I just threw this together quickly with scraps. The toilet paper roll is clip art that I found online.
Ok y'all, here is my final potty party invitation. Finished up 20 of them today. I have a couple more pics and the details on my blog: http://angelstamper2.blogspot.com/20...nvitation.html
But I've also attached a couple views.
