A lady in my stamp club recently lost her mother to breast cancer. She would like to make thank you cards for all of the people who have helped her with food, childcare, etc. by making cards using the pink breast cancer theme, possibly even incorporating a pink ribbon. I've performed a search for cards using the words "breast cancer" but thought I'd check if there was a gallery or challenge centered around the breast cancer theme. I poked around the special collections gallery and the challenge gallery and haven't found anything.
I think there was a challenge for this; if not, there was definitely a collection of cards done for one of our SCS sisters; let me see if I can find it;

Here's a ink to LSC85: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers which was a Think Pink theme so there are lots of ideas here; many of the cards were collected by Cindy (Mothermark) for her neighbor who was going through a bout with breast cancer at the time; you can see a link to that in Cindy's card here: LSC85 - For Eliza by Mothermark at Splitcoaststampers
at some point, Cindy showed a photo of all the cards sent to Eliza; there were many beauties there!

I found this simple one in the "Hope Is" gallery. It is a nice thank you card using this set. If you need me to stamp you some images with this set just let me know. I would be happy to. My aunt is a breast cancer survivor and I am friends with Eliza Brock, too.
Cuttlebug has a nice, fairly large ribbon die. I'm going to use that with the SU "hope" stamp (from wonderful word II) as a "thank you for donation" card.
Jackie Kelley made this with a matching book marker clip for the JustRite contest. The sentiment can be personalized to whatever you want to say....just a suggestion
And, I picked up the Sizzix Scrap Pink Kit today at Archivers, I was able to make a card in less than 10 minutes. It took me longer to find pink cardstock than it did to make the card!
I have been making cards for my sister as she goes through chemo. (and I used the MFT think pink set for the Verve OSW challenge).

beautiful cards! i'm sure they've provided inspiration to your sister. best of luck to her.
There is a cute Bella holding a ribbon. I used it on a journal I made for a neighbor newly diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I also used the SU retired set on the journal.
She could always make these "tent" type holders to hold either a Hersheys Nugget or 2 of the Pink Kisses instead of a card. I make something each year for a friend to give out to hre dr's/nurses, etc during Breast Cancer Awareness month. I have done the York peppermint patties with the ribbon theme, bag toppers with pink M&M's and these...

DRS Designs has a wonderful sentiment stamp, 'What Cancer Cannot Do'. I made a card using it, in a pink monochromatic color combo which you can see HERE.

i've seen the poem before, but never in a stamp. i've made altered frames like this one for friends that were diagnosed with caner. thanks Jessica for sharing! love your card too.
When I had breast cancer, I found a cute stamp with a picture of a bra with the sentiment "Thanks for your support". It has been a great hit as a thank you and I have lent it to other friends to use and made a set for a friend to take to her in hospital. She loved them!

OH Jessica - I LOVE this. Cancer has hit my family twice (father, husband) and this poem has been in my house in many forms, but I had NO IDEA there was a stamp for it! I am in awe - your card is beautiful, touching and inspirational. Thank you for sharing it. God bless :-D
Our Daily Bread Designs ( www.ourdailybreaddesigns.com ) Just released a set called Hope that can be used for inspirational cards as well as has the ribbon that can be coloured with different colours for different disease awareness! Very Versatile
Kelly -- thanks for the nice comments on my card .
The Life Mosaic site is amazing; it really reminds us that there is a face and story behind every 'statistic'. Best wishes and prayers for Antonio to have many, many more years with his beautiful family!
