I just bought a box of 1000 A2 envelopes for $26.00 from It's the cheapest I've found. They are nice quality, too, with the squared back instead of the point. Shipping is quite a bit, though. A box of envelopes that size is heavy. But I stock up on other envelopes as well. I got 350 A1 for less than $10.00, recycled A2 envies (a splurge on my part 'cause I think they're cool brown paper, sort of a cross between kraft and a paper bag) 200 for $16.80, 2 packs of 50 red and green envies for my mom at $3.85 each. Like I said, I only order like this maybe once a year. I thought shipping was reasonable - $13.49 for the 19 pound box, via UPS. So there's more than you ever wanted to know!
